My first time it did. That part of your body has never had something go there before. My friend said taht it didn't hurt for her. It also depends on how big the guy is.
For teh most part it is just an uncomfortable sensation, but after acouple times it will stop hurting. Just make sure you love your partner, and doing it becuase you want to, and not becuase of any pressure from any one else.
When I met the guy i am going to marry, I was upset that I hadn't waited for him to be the first. It really does mean something to give yourself to someone. And when the one comes along (guy or girl), you understand why people tell you to wait for them.

It can, but that isn't necessarily bad.
First, do you want to have the act--even if the other party is gentle with what he foists on you, if you don't want to you will experience pain.
Second, if you want to but are not lubricated (where the clumsy guys always glibly ask "are you wet"), then the repetitive motion can be as painful as a rug burn.
Third, even if you wanted to and had your own lubrication, the physical methods employed can be painful. I've heard women refer to it as 'pounding bone', as in his pelvic bone banging on your pelvic bone, and his, um, equipment, meanwhile pounding in your, um, receptical. Sometimes this can be even bruising for both, as I know from personal experience on the other side of the equation. Sometimes the partner needs to curb his exhuberance, which can be hard to do when he's 'passed the point of no return' (rational thought sometimes clicks off in the animal passion of the moment just before climax).
Fourth, it can be painful, but in association with your inner urges it may not matter. Watching animals mate is fascinating. They have no niceities and consideration matters. When the urges hit both (in mammals we say they are in 'heat' or 'rut'), it doesn't matter. The male pins, snares, corners, whatever and the female sometimes tries to evade, but then starts backing up and getting into it. It isn't just males that have that 'point of no return' women do too. Both my children, two separate wives, were started when they initiated it, waking me up and insisting, very insistingly. When I was ready to quit, they weren't close to it. They looked like they were in pain before I even started.
That is why it is called "drive" and if your drive kicks in, it won't matter if it hurts, it has got to happen. Usually, though, the guys will be in that mode a lot more than the girls.

First of all if you are not 17 yet wait to find out. Its worth the wait. Yes the first time is a lil uncomfortable but it gets better every time after that. If you use tampons then you shouldnt have a problem at all and of course size and other factors count as well. Good luck
