The eletronic components of digital memory card have a potention unlimited life span as long as you don't blow it. (such as pulling out your card without turning the power off the camera, or creating an electrostatic discharge, like a spark from rubbing your shoes on a carpet, etc.) Otherwise, the only limitation manufacturers indicate on their documentation in on how many tome a card can be inserted and removed, because this wears down the electical contacts. Even this is given in the 1,000 time range.

For Simple Read/Write Cycles a life of over 1,000,000 is the Norm for flash memory. for insertions 1,000 is the norm
for running over with a car - probably 2 or 3.
for static probalbly 1 or 2

There's a pretty good chance it will outlast the camera. Many brands also offer limited lifetime warranty (at least here in Singapore) so it's not much of a worry.

If you're talking about read/write ability you can read them infinatly (So they say) but writing/overwriting clusters can be done well over 10,000 times.
