Your situation:
You have been dating a guy for about 6 weeks now. He thinks that you are the greatest girlfriend in the world and never wants to leave you. You on the other hand can not continue with him. He is just Mr. Wrong for you and you didn’t dump him before because you didn’t want to hurt his feelings.
You decide to finally end your misery and plan to tell him you are going to end it over dinner. During dinner you are about to tell him good bye when he cuts you off and happily says to you, “Baby! I just won the 5 million dollar lottery! We are rich!” then he pulls out an engagement ring with airplane tickets to an exotic get away. He gets on his knees and asks you to marry him. What do you do? Do you say no? What now?

Considerate me would let him down easy...

Bitchy ruthless me would go along with it and then break off the engagement in the middle after experiencing a luxurious and extravagent lifestyle with his money, but hey atleast I wouldn't marry him just to divorce him for 2.5 million...

Lol, as if. I'd say "no" to the proposal, take him home and dump him there. I ain't about to act like I want to be with him even more just b/c he won some money and is butt happy. He'll be happy w/ that money and a beach full of hot chicks going alone or w/ a good friend, so, whatever.

It would be a horrible thing for the woman to say yes if she was feeling like he was Mr. Wrong. No amount of money in this world could possibly make me stay with someone I wasn't fully feeling it for. I'd feel guilty everyday for holding onto him when someone else would love him with all their heart, and I'd be miserable to have to pretend I loved him. When they say money doesn't buy happiness, this is exactly what they're talking about!

Honestly, I couldn't stay with someone and not be happy. I'd rather be living in a barn with a bunch of smelly pigs with someone I love than be unhappy with millions of dollars, because then I would probably cheat on him with the guy who lives with the smelly pigs and that would just not be right.

I would have to say no...If this person wasn't right for me..and I wasn't happy with him to begin with..Then in the long run this poor guy would be miserable and missing out on someone who cared about him..If you care about the guys feelings it is best to let him go and have the chance to meet other people. Love just isn't bought.

I wouldn't marry him, but definitely i would stay with him. Its true that money cant buy love, but you were with him when things when life wasn't so fancy, now that the fancy life come i would definitely want to be a part of it. I am not a gold digger but its the facts of life. You may grow to love him

If I don't really love him no amount of money in the world is going to make me happy with him so NO I wouldn't marry him. Women who marry for money get what they deserve.

Marry him and share the wealth! Money can buy happiness!! Well, at the very least, it can give you the option of doing lots of other things to take your mind off your "not-quite-right" hubby.

Actually, BTDT only the guy didn't win the money, he already had it when we started dating. I didn't love him, I knew I never would, so I ended it. No amount of money can fix a bad relationship or make you love someone you don't love.
