Can I truly be a Christian and a sinner?

Actually you cannot be a Christian and not a sinner. THe difference between a non Christian and a Christian is not the fact that we sin, its the fact that our sins have been forgiven.

No! The Scripture says that "no man can serve two masters for he would love one and hate the other." Basically it means that it's all or nothing. God did the same for us through His Son Jesus Christ, so how can we 'straddle the fence" and do any less for Him? Granted, we don't have to die for Him, but we do have to give Him our all, so therein lies your answer.
