WTF?

Why does it matter what anyone else thinks of your kids names... it's not like there's anyone in this forum who is going to relate to your children on a daily basis. You should pick a name that you and your significant other are going to like. Part of parenting is being able to chose and make decisions for your child. Think of a name that you like, and think about how you would feel if you had that name all your life. That's how you should pick a name!

Well first of all...do not let other peoples opinions get you down. I say this all the time but I feel like I need to keep saying it. Name your child what YOU want to. There will always be someone somewhere that has something dumb to say about your child's name. You cant make everyone happy so make yourself happy. Name your child whatever works best with you and your family. Not strangers!!!

No onto that I will give my opinion. Neither of the names I am big on. Jocelyn Celeste is SUPER cute its just too common for me...I guess I wouldn't name my child that but it is cute.
To me Skyler is too girly sounding. I know several girls named Skye,Skyler (or Skylar) my daughter is Skyelynn...I just do not like the way it sounds when boys are named Skyler...just my honest opinion!!!

I do not like Skyler or Jocelyn. I do like Josiah and Celeste a lot though. That should be their first names.

I think their fine, I actually like both of them.
When I had my kids, the most common names were, John, Debbie, Robert, nothing out of the norm. Now, I hear alot of Madison's, and Harley, and Morgan (girls) which are cool too.
However, I always liked Olivia Elizabeth for a girl and Ian for a boy. No reason but that they sounded regal and romantic.
Whatever you decide, think first of all the possible nicknames that they could be called, and I mean the bad ones. Kids can be so cruel you know.
Yes, my daughter's name is Olivia my son is Ian, however because of the nickname thing, they ended up being the middle names, so it was a nice way to avoid kids making fun of them when they were little.
Best wishes for you and your baby..

Skylar seems like a pretty popular name, but you might want that. I love the middle names though! There are also a lot of girl Skylers, so you might want to keep that in mind!

Skyler is okay. (the only reason i say this is because I knew this weirdo named sklyer) I LOVE Jocelyn, though. It's so pretty!
