I was walking out to my car and this guy was with his dog (the dog was going to the bathroom) standing next to the apartment building. He just kept staring at me as I was getting into my car. I looked up and he was STILL looking. I looked at him and said, "Don't f*cking stare at me!" He didn't hear me, but it was clear he understood the "f*ck" coming from my lips. He immediately looked away.

I just hate when guys (weird ones) stare at me! I mean, it is flattering and all, but I don't like the type of guys that stare at me. It's irritating. I don't flaunt my bodies or anything. I'm just an average girl.

Everything we say or do is a reflection on the person we are. If using language like that reflects the type of person you want to be viewed as, then go right ahead and let those expletives rip.

If, however, you want to be viewed as a "lady", or "ladylike," or "respectable," then don't use those words in public. Surely, there was a better way to address the guy than the way you did.

You say that you don't flaunt your body, but maybe there's something else that is attracting the how you termed them--"weird guys"--to you. Perhaps it's your style of dress, or the way you walk. Maybe you have a beautiful head of hair or a very noticeable haircolor. It could be your pheromones! Who knows? Allow some time for healthy self-examination to see if there's anything that you can modify. Your idea of average might not be the same as others'.

In my view, "yes." You were wrong.

Furthermore, if you ever see the guy again, if I were you, I would apologize to him. Be pleasant, but not overly so, if you don't want to attract him further. Apologizing, though, is the right way to go.

Then, next time try to be more selective in the way you address people in similar situations. Having received an awful lot of attention in my own life, I have found that there's no harm in just smiling or ignoring the prying eyes.

F*ck him! I am a man with many female friends and I know how t be respectful and not stare. I will look but I will not glare, stare, or gawk. No matter how beautiful you are there are standards of respect us guys should ahear to. Let people know when they are annoying you. There's nothing ever wrong with telling people what you think. F*cking f*cks.

Sounds to me like you get annoyed because being stared at is just f**king annoying. He probably knew what you meant because he probably knows that he has this stupid staring problem.

It was probably that stupid blank stare with no expression that just makes you want to slap him right? They should at least nod or smile and then leave it at that instead of looking like a big dork.

well, it might have been better to say "is there something i can do for you?" but in this day and age he should know that if man stares at a woman that way she is not going to be happy about it and that she might say anything to get him to stop staring.....

Next time try "take a picture it'll last longer" It's just as affective and not as vulgar. Unfortunately it's something we have to deal with everyday. We just have to learn to take it with grace.

You may have been a bit harsh in cursing at him. I would have asked him what his problem was, or told him to take a picture, that it lasts longer.
