she told me she wants to break up with him and that it'll happen soon, and that she likes me, so she obviously wants to date me. How long should i wait though before i ask her? I really really really like her so i want to ask her as fast as i could. Would it be bad to ask her like the day after and then just not tell anybody for a week or something? I'm friends with who her b/f is now and i dont want to get him mad, but i dont care too too much, i want to ask her out as soon as even kind of approperiate

First a good friend would ask the guy first... give him a heads up. Second depending on how long they have been dating a day may be way too short... Sometimes it takes months for someone to really be ready to date again. How long has you known this girl? Is she the type to date one guy and then jump to the next only days inbetween.... if she tends to do that... you should wait. For the sheer fact that if she has barely been single she doesn't know Who she is with out a guy and there for you won't have a healthy relationship. She'll likely break up with you for some other guy really quick just like she did to your friend. I'm not saying she's a bad person... but girls have a tendancy to think they need a guy to be happy...but if she isn't happy with who she is alone you won't be able to have a good relationship... It's happened to many of my friends. If anything maybe take her out to lunch or something right after they break up and talk... Don't go jumping into it... Because you're just asking for trouble... Of loosing the girl and your friend. Think about it logically and with your heart... not with anything else ok? Respect the girl do whats best for all involved.

It all depends on where their mental state is now. If they are a total wreck then it is best that you leave them alone for a while. But if they seem that they are fine then give it a try! Sorry, I did not read your whole question! Is your friend head over heels for her. If so then I think that if yall do start going out then keep it on the low until he seems okay with the idea of her moving on.

well it depends on why she is breaking up with him. Mabye she bored with him. He is your friend and that would be messed up if you asked her out right away or at all. But hey that happens alot. J wait a few weeks ask her out on a friendly date and them take it from there.

she may get bored with you after a while. You must not be very good friends.

ok this is what you do...

talk to her today, like now or as soon as possible and tell her how you feel about her.
tell her that you respect her decision to end her relationship with her current b/f and seeing as you know him you dont want him to be hurt by ur decision to date her, BUT also you know that he will feel some resentment toward both of you, and you are ready to deal with the repercussions.
if you tell her how you feel about her, and if she has feeling for you it will help her to end the relationship sooner than later.
its important to tell her now how you feel. let her know before she breaks up with him
dont hide your relationship with her, but dont flaunt it infront of him either.

i hope this helps
good luck

have you ever heard the saying: "Life is what happens while you make plans"? Don't plan about "when is the right time to ask someone out", just give it a try!!!!

"There is no better angle to handle a problem than the TRY-angle!"

same day, no time to waste. people change partners through marriage like most change their clothes. simple breakup should not affect anything she should be ready probably within the hour that it happens.
