You betcha! Assuming you teach your children our Society's laws and basic manners. That ain't in the religious texts, which needs to be reminded to WAY to many religious fanatics out there! Thou shalt not kill, unless you don't agree with them!

Belief in God or Not believing in God comes down to your free will.
Respect is an earned privilege, people assume it's a given. It never is....
Bring the kids over will have some drinks and cook on the BBQ, swim in the pool.
The difference between fundamentalist Christians and the rest of us Christians is, the realization that people need room to understand one another without judging them based on strict codes that even Christ himself said were wrong when the leaders of religious Judea expressed bigotry toward other classes of society at that time.

I do believe in God and yes I still respect you, I would let my children hang out with yours (if I had any) and I think you can still be a good person. (all assuming there isn't a different reason I shouldn't respect you, because I don't know anything about you).

Yes, I still respect you. I would still let you hang out with my children (unless you are like 25 and want to see my kids alone,,,,,) as long as you respect us and not tell us how we are wrong to believe in God. I think you are a good person, but I don't know you, so I can't be sure.

I respect you as a human being , because God created you, even though you don't believe in him, he believes in you. If your children were well behaved and not devil worshipers then yes I would let them play with yours, maybe they could witnes to them. I think anyone can be good and alot of people are, that do not believe in Jesus, but for me and mine that is not really the point.

I have nothing against atheists. In fact, I used to be an atheist. (I'm a Deist now.) If anything, I've found that some of the atheists I've known have been far more morally upstanding than a lot of the so-called Christians I've known. What other people do is no skin off my nose!

It depends on the behavior of your children. You can still be a good person but being a good person does not get you to heaven and one day "every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord" the Bible says that one day you will believe in God it will just be too late.

I beleive that you are who you are. I would let my children hang with your children. I would be able to answer their questions when they came home from talking with your children. The question is: would you let your children hang out with mine? Can you back up what you believe enough to convince them that my kids are the ones who are wrong?

Yes, yes, yes. I mean assuming you are a person who I would respect otherwise and trust with children. You could be or not be these things whether you are an atheist or a Christian.

Yes. My husband doesn't believe in God and I love and respect him fully. He is the best person I know. He has better morals than most Christians.
