If Jesus is god and god impregnated Mary then Jesus impregnated Mary. Which means he knocked her up to create himself. Either way, that's incest.

The question is valid. The holy trinity is God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Wikipedia notes "...the doctrine of the Trinity states that God is a single Being who exists, simultaneously and eternally, as a perichoresis of three persons (personae, prosopa): Father (the Source, the Eternal Majesty); the Son (the eternal Logos or Word, incarnate as Jesus of Nazareth); and the Holy Spirit (the Paraclete or advocate). Since the 4th Century AD, in both Eastern and Western Christianity, this doctrine has been stated as "One God in Three Persons," all three of whom, as distinct and co-eternal "persons" or "hypostases," share a single Divine essence, being, or nature."
So the church supports incest, in the highest since. God is infallible, he and Jesus being part of the holy trinity, impregnated Mary, so reason states the Church not only supports incest, they worship it. Reminds me of the movie "The Stupids" where Tom Arnold is his own Grandpa.

In all fairness the church does have some doctrine in place that tries to explain the answer to your question, not incest directly but how the Holy Trinity works. Wiki-pedia says "In the Trinity, the Three are said to be co-equal and co-eternal, one in essence, nature, power, action, and will. However, as laid out in the Athanasian Creed, only the Father is unbegotten and non-proceeding. The Son is begotten from (or "generated by") the Father. The Spirit proceeds from the Father (or from the Father and through the Son — see filioque clause for the distinction)." So it's a bit of a contradiction, the beings are equal but there is a hierarchy with the Father at the top who begot the son who made the connection between man and god, and therefore man and the holy ghost possible.
To quote Morgan Freeman from The Big Bounce, "God is just an imaginary friend for grown ups", a security blanket that can be put on a T-shirt so everyone knows "Jesus is Your Home boy."

In Luke 1:35, the angel Gabriel explains to Mary that she will conceive a son this way:

"The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God."

So, your assertation that Jesus impregnated Mary is flat-out wrong.

Whether this was simply a mistake on your part, or a deliberate (and desperate) attempt to discredit and malign the Christian faith, is anybody's guess.

no Jesus did not. Jesus is not Jehovah God. who did Jesus pray to not himself. he was praying to Jehovah God his Father. Jesus is not God Almighty. Jesus is the not God. he never said he was. he is the son of the Most Holy Father Jehovah. Joseph was Jesus stepfather and Mary was his mother. she was a virgin when she was impregnated with holy spirit but after Jesus was born, she had other children. Jesus half brothers and sisters.

water is a solid, a liquid, and a gas. did you know that when water is a solid (ice) it then becomes a mineral
at what point does water become ice?( since it happens slowly)
God the almighty
God the son
God the holy spirit
3 different things yet all the same
to find an answer to your question you must first realize what is the difference between , perception and reality. Just like on the show Kung fu the old man would ask 'grasshopper' to think of certain things to gain access to other insights....walk the rice paper....and snatch the pebble weedhopper. Which means put into practice the things you think you know to see how real they are. Theories look totally different when applied to a practical application.

You err not knowing the scriptures.

Mary was impregnated by the Holy Spirit, and not Jesus.

It is true that Jesus is God but he is also seperate from God, even thought he is 100% God. One God, three seperate persons, yet all God.

God is one deity, in three divine persons. This is the mystery of the Holy Trinity. It is something our puny minds can never fully grasp. Jesus was a different person than the Holy Ghost (who placed Jesus in Mary's womb). There was no act of sex involved.

first of all, Jesus is not God. God is Jesus' father. God impregnated Mary who gave birth to Gods' only begotten son.

You have posed the question merely to incite. THAT does not necessarily allow for an illuminating debate. We, that being those who have an understanding of Christianity, are aware that the utterance "I am the Father, the son and the holy ghost' is meant to relay that all those things are God. But I am also a husband a son and a father. Does that make me the same thing to my wife, my father and my son? No it does not.
