my sister was born on may 17th... and she is the most precious person i know. she is spiritual... loving..and generous to a fault. she has a laugh that is contagious... and a smile that brightens a room. right now she is in africa for two weeks..helping to paint and repair an orpahage and before she left she bought thousands of dollars worth of toys and clothes for the children. i will be a nervous wreck until she comes home safely to the family that loves her. she just left yesterday. so may17th a very beautiful lady... inside and out... was born.

I'm not sure of why this day is special to you other than the fact you can say you have lived another year, yet my dad and cousin were born may 13, my day and my brother were born on the 21st,and my other cousin is on the 29th.so we have may on lock. Always just be happy you can hear "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" one more year. Some people can't.

I was born on May 17, as was a good friend of mine. It is a fine day to be born, in the late spring, before it gets too hot. And my birthday celebration always falls on the Victoria Day weekend (Canada), a great fun, first-long-weekend-of-the-summer here.
