An Answers to the book "The Hobit"?

1. What evidence do you see in chapters 9-10 that validates Gandalf's original opinion of Bilbo--that "there is a lot more in him than you guess, and a deal more than he has any idea of himself"? How does Bilbo grow in these chapters?

None really. The whole series kind of sucked.

The Hobbit was the best of all of them, but that's just b/c the name 'Bilbo Baggins' is fun to say.
