I'm sick of the freaks on here that whenever they see the word god, they get their panties in a bunch. Who are you to tell me what to do and what not to do. I'm probably going to hell right. Why is that, because I lead a good, honest life? Is it because I have dedicated my life to helping children? Or is it because I don't worship god? You crazy fanatics need to get your head out of your ***. If god is the type to send me to hell because I don't worship him/her, despite the fact that I dedicate myself to others and try to do good, then let me burn.

From what I read in this category, it's the religious fanatics who are dissing God by attributing so much anger, spite and injustice to him - and they never have a clue that they're doing it.

Not all christians are freaks. Not all christians get there panties in a bunch. Not all christians are like that. That's prejudice and to be honest thats not leading a good honest life, because you don't respect us. And are any of those people you help Christians?? Or do you not because you scared they might tell you what you too afraid to hear.

A life based upon logic and reason is the surest path to happiness and success particularly in an increasingly secular world. It is far better than submitting to the delusions of those who choose to rigidly cling to mythes written thousands of years ago by primitive tribesmen who didn't know simple things like the earth goes around the sun, or that the earth is round.
While dealing with fundamentalists and their mythes can be quite frustrating...you may really need to work through your anger... perhaps your time, if it has value to you, would be better spent pursuing those things that make you happy.

These 'fanatics' don't know any better. They take the word of a book that's been altered so many times and treat it like gold without thinking for themselves. No, you're not going to go to hell, there's no such thing. Keep up your good work and I'll see ya on the otherside!

finally, someone who's able to express exactly my sentiments. and still, i see there still are people who think moral yet non religious people will go to hell if that even exists. and they dont have a clue of the pit they're actually in. i used to be an avid church goer, i used to pity atheists and the like in the same way. now i understand there is nothing wrong with a bit of pluralism in this day and age. i guess it was a process of unlearning what i was tought with upbringing and society, and relearning everything for myself again.
really, now, how i feel is, i pity those who pity me and i can only hope that they can think better.

I hear you, religion is just a way to scare people into leading a good life...if you can be a good person and live life well without saying things are for god or jesus then all the better. I live my life well for me and not for other people

Jehova and Allah are both war Gods bent on destroying the world. or they were. I like the peaceful freespirited Gods like Diana, Freyja, Zeus, Thor and Anu.
Ra is a war God too so be careful. Gods are like humans except that they realized thier fullest potential. Gods are good neutral and bad.

You know, when you take a test and your teacher/professor tells you to write your name on the exam or you won't get credit, you have to put your name on the exam. If you answer everything perfectly, but you don't have your name on the paper, you still fail. God said, believe in me and you will enter heaven. If you do everything else the Bible says (good works, love your neighbor, ...) but don't believe in him; you won't get into heaven. Following the rules is a pain sometimes.
