"This little light of mine, I'm going to let it shine..." Is a song referring to a parable in the bible. Once a person becomes born again, and is filled with the Holy Spirit, they gain joy and understanding about God's word. It's pretty difficult not to have that joy emulate from inside and light up your entire countenance so others see a change in you. Often, people who don't even know you personally are drawn to you because of the joy and love you have acquired from the baptisim of the Holy Spirit.

Often, as people get to know you, they are curious about your joy and peace. It's nothing anyone has to sell, if it's the real thing. Jesus is the real thing and he gives us life in abundance. We are joyful because we know that God first loved us before we were aware of Him.

Man, though, like the tax collector in the bible, often lets greed lead a person. It's through acknowledgment of Christ and the transformation in faith, we are able to repent and find this joy. If people ask questions, we gladly answer because someone once took time to explain everything to us. I'm thankful for the woman who took time to tell me about Jesus and His love for me.

Now, I know, that I will once more see my family and friends in heaven. I know that I live in eternity now. I know that although man may steal my body, he can never touch my soul. I belong to the King of Kings.

Being born again, or understanding the Word of God is spiritual. No man can logically come to grips on the bible. You have to take a step of Faith. Hope you do one day. It will change your life for the better, no matter how wonderful your life is now.

The word of God teaches it is easier for a camel to get through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven. Do you know why? Because it takes faith. A self made man is not about to turn away from all he has earned and done to denounce it all as foolishness. Jesus often taught in "Parabels," He provided a simultaion of things for people to gain better understanding.

Anyway, hope one day your desire to know God leads you to accepting His love and Grace for your life. It's all spirtual, and all by faith.

Neither. Regardless if you believe in the devil or not, you, and no one else, are responsible for your own actions. Placing the blame on another, supernatural or human being amounts to a lack of willingness to take responsibility for your life.

In the Christian Bible, the devil simply tempts and can not force people to do anything. The Bible has no power either way. it consists of words that may or may not inspire some.
