I have sarcoidosis (which is in remission). I was prescribed steroids but never got to take them because my inflammation began going down right before I took my first dose.

Steriods are used for so many things because it is a miracle drug that temporarily fixes many iflamation problems.
I am currently on neurotin, prednisone and quite a few other drugs. I have been diagnosed with Churg-Strauss Syndrome. A very rare condition that has to do with nerve damage and inflammatory problems. They are wanting me to take a drug called Cytoxen starting tomorrow and I am nervous about that. Good luck!

Be careful if you are getting steroid injections-they are just a "thin film to disguise" what's really an underlying issue-which has to deal with tissues! Your tussues may be inflammed, the injection may cause you to feel as if you have no inflammation-whereas this be untrue-So, all told-be careful to not overdo it-as the steroid is merely a cover-up for the real issue which is your "tissues"! Ciao
