Sure I've had it lotsa times, it's because you're new to eachother (at least relatively) and you're both excited about seing eachother, and probably both interested in starting things up from here, but I think there's a good reason why ppl test "proposing" boyfrends (or vise versa) and wait and observe patiently b4 they get down to it. For instance, thesame thing could happen with a guy who just wants sex from you...bcos he's so attracted to you he's all gleeful being with you and giving you enough words and attention to turn you on, but watch it gurl.
Like my frend said, the idea is to interract with him to a level that you're sure that even when (and if) you have sex, the person won't change and things won't change for the worse between *you. You can't know whether you are in love yet, until you are in a successfull thriving relationship with this guy.

it's very possible to have longing feelings for someone on a first date, however first dates does not make a relationship.(smile)
long lasting relationships are made the old fashion way through trails and errors, joys and sorrows.
i think one of the biggest problems we have in society is this microwave concept.
we tend to want everything right now.
what i can tell you sis is this, take your time, find out who he really is(and that can take some time)
but if he's worthy he'll wait for you.
you know what i'm saying.......make him wait, because we don't want to FALL.....IN LOVE.
you want to BE loved.

I believe you can. I know a couple that went on a date like the one you described and then they married 13 weeks later. Their marriage lasted 30 years until she died of cancer. So yes is can happen.

I wouldn't call it love so fast, since both of you just went on a first date and you had just gotten knowing him. Its that fresh feeling of courtship that has you all excited and high, its normal to feel that way for a good start on a relationship.
I would say its a good start on falling in love, hope you guys make it there ^o^

absolutely, it is possible, i had the same experience with my boyfriend when we first met. i knew he was the one for me after our first date, he made me feel like the most important person in the world and still does. we have been together for 12 months now and we live together as well, my life couldn't be better, i say never let a good thing pass you by and go with your instincts.
good luck!

You know what? Sometimes you just click with someone. I felt that way about this guy after a week. Right now we are on the outs though (his fault) but as crazy as it sounds, I still have this 'feeling' about him. Call it the 'Soul Mate Theory' or whatever but there is just this certain feeling you get about someone. Their conversation stimulates you but in order to be in love, remember, they have to stimulate more than your mind (not trying to be nasty or anything), They have to stimulate your mind, body & soul. Good luck!

i have been with my man for a long time and girl that was just how our relationship began, i knewi loved him but did not say any thing about it cuz i thought he would think i was crazy, but only a week later he told me he was in love with me and could not imagain his life with out me, i was blown away bc i felt the same way, we have been going stong eversince, engaged and expexting our first child any day. so YES it can happen if your heart is saying hes the one, then listen to your heart. good luck!!!
