I dont ever drink, or use drugs, so i know that i wouldnt have met this person in a drunkin stupor or anything but i keep dreaming about him at least 2-3 times a week. Just wondering about this.

I am married and i worry because this person i am dreaming about is not my husband and the dreams are romantic in nature...could it be that i am having these because my marriage is not good as in i have an abusive husband and could have i invented this guy because of that? I dont know just speculation....thanks for all the great answers so far!!!! And thanks to all of you for not thinking i am crazy!!! :)

Nikki has it. Your mind invented someone, a character of convenience, a character of interest, a character of intrigue, a character of hidden hope. He doesn't have the baggage of real men, so if he turns out bad your mind can get rid of him and if he turns out good you keep him. Since he worked for you, your mind uses him again and again.

I'm not an expert on dreams,but my input would be that this person is representing someone else.Look at your feelings toward this person and that might help you realize who he's representing.Once I dreamed I lived in the mountains and had a pet bear,he protected me fiercely and I had deep love for him but also knew not to make him mad.The bear represented my husband.

Can you actually see his face. You may have just seen him walking by and don't remember. I used to always have dreams of the same guy with the same voice and build all the time, but I could never see his face, or at least I couldn't remember it.

maybe becuase you jsut keep worrying about this guy so the dreams jsut keep happening becuase thats whats on your mind...watch, in a few days..or months or maybe even years you will see this guy accross the room and wonder where you saw him at...but then you remember about your dreams...then a few years later you get married!! aww wouldnt that bee soo cute!! haha
