I have been seeing a guy and things are going nowhere pretty fast. He is not wanting a relationship..... he likes to go out and party and date alot of different girls. I already know what I need to do..... forget about him. Done! But my question is should I tell him that I want him to stop calling me or just avoid his calls from now on and let him figure it out. I just wasn't sure if I owed him an explanation or not since we have been dating for a few months..... Thanks for your help.

First of all, you don't owe him a thing. Secondly, do you really want to be friends with him? Sounds to me like any friendship you might have would only make it harder for you to break things off, and your heart will just get trampled. You know the score. You know he's not going to settle down. As hard as it might be, the best thing to do is ignore his calls for now until you're stronger, because most likely he will not take no for an answer, and will manipulate you and use guilt to continue to get his way. Don't forget he has other girls to fall back on. Best to let him go now with your pride, dignity, and heart still in tact.

I don't think you "owe" him an explanation. But obviously he hasn't been committed only to you. Therefore just tell him that you are not interested in him and that you would prefer if he didn't call you. But if you feel uncomfortable saying this to him...just ignore his calls..and he "should" get the point, but then again what if he doesn't...So you know him better than anyone else so you should do what you feel would work best.

I think that perhaps it would be best to tell him how you feel. Just tell him that it was fun while it lasted, but that you don't forsee the relationship with him going anywhere. Just be honest, and kind when you speak to him. This way, he will remember you as a nice person, and you can go on with your life.

I would tell him...in a nice way. By telling him you won't have to deal with his phone calls or worry about anything. And now since he knows he can't have you....there is a strong possiblity that he is going to want you even more!!!!

Your best off finishing things on good terms. Just tell him that you dont want to see him anymore. From the sounds of it he will be ok with it, but it would be mannerly to let him know, and you'll look better for it.

the best thing to do is ignore the phone
if you speak to him you will give the opportunity to talk you into something you dont want to do
