Me amd my wife are planning for baby. On 19th June, she missed her expected period, instead there was only spotting. She never had spotting before. She also has the symptoms of morning sickness and tiredness. She has minor pain in the stomach and couple of times had stomach upset also. On 21st June, she had very little blood once but more than spotting. We are really confused, is this period? I've read similar questions here before but still confusing. We dont want to go for home preg test. Should we wait for some more days and then go to doctor?

Thanks.

I would wait a couple days. Go through the weekend etc and if she is still only having spotting or nothing at all go to the doctor. Good luck!!!

I would say that this is implantation bleeding, this occurs in some women after the egg is fertilized. You should wait just a few days and then go to the doctor and get a pregnancy test. Goodluck I wish you the best :)

Stress is the great delayer of periods. It can lead to missed periods and spotting. If you are anxious about her being pregnant, this could be the problem. If you don't want to go buy a pregnancy test, go to your local Planned Parenthood and ask them to test her. I would wait until you feel she has missed 2 periods before testing.

I spotted both pregnancies and the color is usually different too. You can do a home preg. test early - why not? Tests can be done earlier these days. Sounds like she's pregnant to me.

You should go to the doctor now... But alot of period symptoms mimic that of preganancy and vice versa

Why not just take a home pregnancy test? It could really help calm you down either way!

It could be implantation bleeding. I would say go ahead and go to the doctor. Good luck.

To me it sounds like she's pregnant. Wait for a little while and then go to see her OB
