Liberals have this crazy idea that the terrorists will learn to love us if we leave. Obviously, they don't use a calendar, because
9-11 happened BEFORE we invaded Iraq. Terrorists don't need a reason to create mayhem. They just need an excuse, and the fact that we are infidels is all the excuse they ever need.

Ronald Reagan once said, "they say if we'll only avoid any direct confrontation with the enemy, he'll forget his evil ways and learn to love us." Reagan knew that the Soviet Union was like a big, hungry bear, and that by feeding it, he would only encourage the bear to get stronger and dominate the world to an even greater degree.

You can't back down from terrorists. They will not learn to love us. When Israel made huge concessions to the Palestinians, the terrorists weren't grateful. The terrorists just saw this as a sign of weakness. They said, "we're winning.... let's keep pummelling Israel and we'll get more".

Liberals just don't understand. They live in a fantasy world.

Because Liberals are usually snobby middle class psuedo intellectuals who think that it is cool to rage against the system all the time.

Thats is the same system which has educated them, given them good jobs, nice homes, and a bank balance of course.

They like to moan and to sneer. Sneering is a particular favourite because they can always look down on anyone who isnt a liberal because they are brainwashed, or stupid, or corrupt.

You see Liberalism is like the worst kind of religion in that its disciples have absolutely no self doubt....they are always right and everyone else is totally wrong.

A war is their finest hour. It gives them the chance to take the moral high ground because in actual fact nobody in their right mind likes war, so even if you are a war supporter you are naturally not very comfortable with it because people are dying.

Liberals love that. Every enemy death makes the liberal a saint and the war supporter a death monger....unless its an American soldier dying and then its the facist military getting what they deserve from a brave freedom fighter, or its the presidents fault for making soldiers do what they volunteered to do.

Liberals don't actually care whether we leave Iraq because in actual fact if we do, there will be far more deaths as the country collapses into anarchy, its just a convienient cause to shout slogans about.

I generalise of course as there are many honorable liberals around, but unfortunately none of them seem to appear on this forum. All I ever see is mis-informed drivel about oil, bush, and brave insurgents.

I'm a liberal and I don't want to leave Iraq. We shouldn't be there in the first place because we were never done with Afghanistan. As I'm writing this, the Taliban now controls 1/3 of Afghanistan. We did not capture Bin Laden. We did not bring stability to the region. Like usual, the Bush Administration didn't think things through. And look where that's gotten us. Somalia is about to become another country run by Islamic Extremists.

We need to stay in Iraq and this Administration needs to PUNISH the ones who planned it originally...Oh...My bad...They rewarded them instead.

As for finding WMDs? When? We have a couple of empty casings and that's it. Mobile labs? Those were used by the meteorologists for their weather balloons. Ask the british, They verified it. Cause they were the ones that should the trailers to the Iraqi's.

Im a Liberal, and I dont think we all want to leave Iraq. What we DO want, and what this administration seems to have no idea how to deliver, is an EXIT PLAN.

Something they should have thought about BEFORE they went in. It was a poorly thought out invasion. Not legistically...but in terms of cause and effect.

We invaded...and opened the door for terrorists to enter the country. Saddam is an evil man and a terrible leader....but he HATED terrorists. They werent there before we invaded. No matter what FOX News tells you.

By the way, for the two that inferred Democrats want to leave simply to further their political gain....that the most ridiculous thing ive ever heard. What, people arent ALLOWED to disagree with you without it furthering their "agenda"? Ridiculous. Grow up.

It's costing US billions of dollars and thousands of lives in a pointless war. After all there's no reason why we are in that war at all. The last time we checked there are weapons of mess destruction. Sure there are human right violations in Iraq. But didn't US troop violate any human rights?
Also the war is kind of unsuccessful. Sure, US entered Bagladad in a few weeks. But they are still in a hostile territory. It has been three years and they still can't stop the suicide bombers.
The war is turning the world against the US. Of course the mid-east hate US even more. The US's old allies are begining to turn against US. The continent of Europe hates the war.

Glad to hear you don't want to hear about the costs of the war, genius.

From January of this year:

'' LAST WEEK, the annual meeting of the American Economic Assn.presented a new estimate for the likely cost of the war in Iraq suggested that the final bill will be much higher than previously reckoned — between $1 trillion and $2 trillion,' or 7-14 times higher than Bush originally claimed.

http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/comm...

Fort Sam Houston has received 1,300 utility service termination notices for delinquent bill payments, which officials blamed on a major budget shortfall.

CPS Energy warned commanders at the post to pay $4.2 million by Wednesday or risk losing power. The post is three months behind on its bills, but both Army and utility officials said the two parties were talking and no cutoff was imminent.

"Who would imagine us not paying our bill?" said Col. Wendy Martinson, Fort Sam Houston's garrison commander. "I worry about it. I can't sleep at night."

The post, which trains medics, faces a $26 million budget shortfall this year - a problem that officials said is symptomatic of the financial woes facing posts worldwide.

Libs want to leave Iraq to show our enemies (Islamist throat slitters) that libs and terrorists share the same foe--G.W. Bush and the evil American military. They would rather leave Iraq while our enemies are on the run (see Zarqawi's proclamation of defeat note) in order to hand Mr. Bush and the "warmongers" a big defeat so they can pander to peacenik America haters back home for the purpose of fleecing those idiots of their money come fundraising time. That's why. Not much idiology involved, not much principal--just money. Republicans aren't much better, but at least most of them are willing to react offensively to a real enemy which possesses a first class taste for infidel blood.

How about because most Iraqis want us to? Why don't you care about the will of the people????

Poll: Most Iraqis want U.S. forces to leave
By JOHN SOLOMON
The Associated Press

WASHINGTON – Iraqis overwhelmingly view U.S. forces as occupiers and wish they would leave, according to a poll commissioned by the Bush administration.

The poll, requested by the Coalition Provisional Authority last month, found more than half of Iraqis surveyed believed that they'd be safer without U.S. forces and that all Americans behave like the military prison guards seen in the Abu Ghraib abuse case.

I want everyone out of IRAQ cause it not our problem and it is costing too much in lives and money. That does not make me a liberal. That makes me a person with good sense. You are confused. There are many so-called republicans that want us out also, but they have to play follow the leader.

Because the invasion of IRAQ is based on a pack of lies.
Promulgated by a pack of liars.
And accepted by IDIOTS.

And....while question is still open....
Why don't you tell us.....in your details....why you think we should stay in IRAQ.
Give us your conservative take on the issue.
tell us the truth.

Note: and since you are making claims. Why don't you back them up with a link or two?
you know what a link is?
