Urinary tract infection (UTI) 1-2%
In the 1980s, retrospective studies by Wiswell et al. suggested that 98-99% of intact (non-circumcised) male infants will not develop UTI
(Females have higher rates of UTI in childhood and throughout life than either intact or circumcised boys.)

Penile Cancer .001%
Among intact (i.e., non-circumcised) males, 99.999% will not develop penile cancer ( Annually, there are more infant deaths from infant circumcisions than deaths from cancer of the penis.)

Cervical cancer 0%
Both cervical and penile cancer are now understood to be caused not by genital smegma (which both sexes produce), but by HPV (Human Papilloma Virus), a sexually transmitted virus.

Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs)
A major medical study by Lauman and colleagues find slightly lower risks of STD's in uncircumcised men, confirming other previous studies

a disease? well the most likely problem would be an infection of some sort, but i doubt there is any desease. And the percentage of men who suffer such a condition with foreskins are the ones that don't bathe and keep their little guy clean. There is no need for a circumcision as long as the little guy is kept celan.

Why would I suffer anything more then anyone else? If it wasn't supposed to be there it wouldn't be there in the first place, Duh?

The foreskin is there as a protective thing, and as far as STD's there isn't any info as to that being any better or worse. STD's don't hide in your foreskin anyway. 58 years and I still have mine, never a problem. As a matter of fact most doctors have a policy of not cutting it off anymore anyway. God put there for a reason or it wouldn't be there at all.

Disregard all of the responses; many are obviously from pro or anti circucision zealots. There are risks and benefits; for factual unbiased information see

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circumcision

Ex: deaths due to circumcision = 1 in 500.000, much lower than the penile cancer rate in uncircumcised males.

More serious side effects come from poorly perfomed operations, which can result in loss of the penis.

Most of the men who get some type of problem is because of their own bad personal hygiene. If you have your Top Hat you must wash that area very well, if not infections & other problems may occur.

I don't think that there is such a thing as a foreskin.
