Okay I am sick and tired of my straight hair.
Are curls all the rage again or?
I want to get a perm maybe in the next month or so, not spiral curls, something a bit lighter.
advice anyone?

If you really want to go curly, go for it. My personal issues with perms though is I used to get them when I was a kid. When I decided I finally wanted to go straight, my hair held on to the curl no matter how much time went by and no matter how much I let my hair grow. Giving myself a buzz cut was the only way to get rid of all the curl. Mind you, my hair has a mind of its own. I'm not saying that would happen to you.

No don't do that, just get some heat rollers and you can have temporary curls. I permed my hair once and I hated it, but that's just me.

hey i am 12 but when i put perm in my hair almost every girl in 6th grade started put perm in there hair so i have straight hair now but i think when i get in middle school i will but perm in it again and see what will happen in a couple of days

Get some hot rollers. A perm is terrible for your hair. Rollers are a lot cheaper and you still getta keep your straight hair and can use it when you want.

You might want a body wave instead of a perm. A body wave will give you more flexabliity on what you can do with your hair.

I was having the same thought I didnt do it I would go w/a spiral but a loose one you dont want grandma curls right?

PERM. I PERM MY HAIR AND NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS, YOU HAVE TO TAKE EXCELLENT CARE OF YOUR HAIR. GET THE CURLS ONLY AT THE ENDS. SO YOU WILL HAVE BOUNCEY LOOK.

perms will mess up your hair real bad.
