The only "immoral" sexual relationships are those not between consenting adults. If those 'consenting" adults have promised to be faithful to another and sneakily break that promise, it's "immoral" also.

This is a very deep question... What makes something immoral? We as Americans in a "Christian" based society use the Bible and our Judicial system to determine what is immoral. However this is very cultural. What we consider immoral may be common practice in another society.
Sodom and Gomorrah were not destroyed strictly because of the sexual acts people were practicing, they were destroyed because not one God fearing or God believing soul could be found. God could no longer justify their existence.
In general people did not have a problem with homosexual acts until the Christians said it was "wrong." Mainly to separate themselves from the Romans.
If God is the creator of all the universe why is it so hard to believe that God would create homosexuals? Isn't he infallible?

I am a Christian and I believe the teachings of Christ. I have a question for you however. It seems as if you have already made up your mind about the issue, so why ask the question? (Prov 14:9)
Homosexuality, as well as fornication and adultery, is named as sexual, or carnal, sin in the Bible. If you do not believe in Christ, then do not criticize me because I do. I too, without the Blood of Jesus Christ, am just a sinner as well. But because I believe in the Finished Work of the Cross, I am redeemed. (Rom 5:8)
I do not judge you; that is for the Lord to do. However, it is our job as Christians to be a beacon of shining light for the world and warn against wrongdoing.(Mat 5:14-16)
Christians are taught to hate the sin, not the sinner for we all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. (Rom 3:23)
We as humans like to rationalize things to fit our own agendas and feelings. If it feels good to you, then it HAS to be good for you, right?!?! This is a question that we each must answer for ourselves.
I invite you to read Gen. 19:4-11, 19:23-25, 19:29;Lev 18:22-30, II Peter 2:6-10, and Jude Vs 7
"You (Christians) are the Light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it gives light unto all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before (ALL) men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven!"
-Mat 5:14-16 (KJV)
I hope someone will be Blessed by something that was written.

If you don't mind a smart-aleck answer, here you are:
Hitler discriminated against three main types of people (and tried to murder as many as he could): Jews, Gypsies (or people of color), and homosexuals.
Discrimination, prejudice, and abhorance of Jews and people of color are now socially unacceptable. Fanatic Christians (and other Hitler-wannabe's) need someone to throw into veritable concentration camps to feel morally superior... homosexuals are the only group left.
Honestly, though, you ask, "Surely immorality is mugging old ladies and stealing cars?" Yes, those are immoral, but also illegal. Something else that's immoral is cramming one's religion onto anyone else. It's essentially a mild form of rape... forcing one's will onto another human being against his or her will.
[Edited to add: God didn't write 1 Corinthians... Paul did.]

Homosexuality isn't immoral. It's totally natural.
I agree with you.
Instead of bashing homosexual people (who are normal people, the ones I know are very nice), people should concentrate their energies on making the world a better place.
Have you noticed most, if not all, of the people who associate homosexuality with immorality use religious reasons to condemn?

I don't think it is immoral. It doesn't bother me at all.
Why do people say that anyway? do they feel threatened because their own insecurity? Do they need to feel righteous about themselves by having (at least) one thing to believe on? I agree with you about mugging old ladies and stealing car, those harm others and are immoral.

The Bible says in Romans Chapter 1 that "men would leave the natural use and affection of the woman.......working that which is unseemly one with another" and "....will reap the abomination of their own bodies!" Sounds pretty immoral to me!

!st off let's get one thing straight,God give us a choice in life, to choose Right from Wrong. When God created the Earth He also created man.(Adam) After he created man he saw that man was lonely and put Adam in a deep sleep, took a rib from him and made woman. Therefore this is the example we should follow thru life Man & Woman.God is always blame for things we want to change for all of our sins.If you would get your BIBLE

Meanwhile the Catholic Church think it is not immoral for priests to rape little kids.
The Church KNEW it and just moved the priests to another parish. It is like moving a alcoholic from bar to bar

Homophobia is immoral, they mistranslated the words in the Bible.
Homosexuality has no victims...it is not immoral it hurts no-one.
In fact Homophobia is an abomination, it victimises gay people and hurts many people... homophobia is both harmful and immoral.
