I am getting tired of pointing out that it was disavowed by the Depament of Defense and FOX news

Sarin has a relatively short shelf life, and will degrade after a period of several weeks to several months. The shelf life may be greatly shortened by impurities in precursor materials. (Wikipedia)

Give it up folks...Haven't you figured it out yet. It's not about what they find or don't find for the Bush haters. You could parade out a nuclear weapon found in one of Saddam's palaces and they would say the military planted it. I do wish though that if they are going to try and wow people with facts they would at least cite an article that presents the complete defense departments statements on the matter. Instead of an article that cherry picks the parts that support it's cause.

Here are the rest of the comments:

The official said the findings did raise questions about the years of weapons inspections that had not resulted in locating the fairly sizeable stash of chemical weapons. And he noted that it may say something about Hussein's intent and desire. The report does suggest that some of the weapons were likely put on the black market and may have been used outside Iraq.

He also said that the Defense Department statement shortly after the March 2003 invasion saying that "we had all known weapons facilities secured," has proven itself to be untrue.

"It turned out the whole country was an ammo dump," he said, adding that on more than one occasion, a conventional weapons site has been uncovered and chemical weapons have been discovered mixed within them.

The administration is soft-selling this because it is not the Holy Grail of WMDs just a good start. It has NEVER been disavowed by Fox or the Adminstration. Saddam used WMDs on the Kurds and the Iraqis, told all of his generals and the leader of Egypt he had them, and libs have been acting like he is totally innocent. Do you know how large and empty Iraq is. I could hide the damn Sears Tower is I was allowed to break it in pieces and scatter it rhoughout the country.

When will morons like yourself face reality? The story was never disavowed by either the DOD or Fox so quit lying. Also just because the 'weapons were degraded' and not launchable does not make them any less dangerous....if you think that then why not take a stick of degraded dynamite and try and light it...you wouldn't because common sense tells you its still as dangerous if not more so....let me ask you this question...why are people like yourself so unwilling to say you were wrong when all evidence points to the truth...is it the Clinton syndrome?

What the Dept. of Defense said is that the weapons had degraded enough that they would not have been launchable, and that they were pre-1991, not the WMD's we went to war over. This does not disavow the story.....Hussein lied.....why are liberals so surprised? There is obviously more to the story there in Iraq.....liberals need to stand aside and let the military find out what it is.

I thought the use of gas to murder 300,000 Kurds, including women and childres WAS use of a WMD. If Sadaam DIDN"T have any WMD, why didn't he just let in the UN in to inspect?

Clinton admitted there were WMD, the EU community admitted there were WMD. Why do you still have a problem? Do you have any idea what the desert is like? You know the old adage "Like finding a needle in a haystack" We've found more than a dozen military jets BURIED in the sand, fighter jets capable of delivering bombs. They were BURIED in the sand. You won't EVER hear of anything positive listening to Katie Courik and Lauer.

Dude the WMDs have been being found since May of '04. They were just declassified by the PENTAGON which trust me those guys don't get involved with politics. And the other news networks don't want to air it because no one will ever watch them again if they do.

-----------------------------------
No the weapons were defenitly still operational the shell is not going to degrade although the gas does but only slightly. The gas inside was still deadly.

I don't care if they were old or new. They were there and Saddam lied about them. Nothing says they couldn't have been fixed to be set off if need be. I wish everyone would just shut up about it. It's called being obsessed!!! Get over it you dont have much time left till you can start in on the next President.
