No because you have misquoted the bible. Genesis 2:24 says: Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his W-I-F-E (not husband, as you said), and they shall become one flesh.
Genesis 2:25 says: And the man and his W-I-F-E (not husband) were both naked and were not ashamed. You cannot change what the bible says. There is a verse in the bible that says "Marriage is between a man and a woman" So if the verses you claim to be in the bible were true, the bible would be contradicting itself and that is impossible because everything in the bible is truth. Next time, don't change what the bible says.
Also, in Revalation, it says not to add or subtract anything from the bible, which is what you have done. This is a sin. But God will forgive you if you ask.

Not a quote from Genesis any more than the serpent's tempting of Eve (he only changed ONE word) was a quote of God's instruction concerning what would happen if Adam & Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good & Evil. You can try to change God's words, but that doesn't make it so.
Here's the REAL quote...
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his WIFE: and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his WIFE, and were not ashamed.
(Genesis 2:24-25)

No.
From what version are you quoting these verses from.
My King James Version says
2:24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and they shall become one flesh
2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

i think u'd better check your bible again.
that is an inaccurate quote you gave.
what is actually written in the sripture is this:
2:24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his WIFE, and they shall become one flesh.
2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his WIFE, and were not ashamed.

I don't know what Bible you're reading, but that is not what it says. It says man shall leave father and mother and cleave to his WIFE. If you read a little more carefull you would notice that "husband" and "wife" are not spelled the same.
Choose your quesitons a little more carefully.

Where did you get that quote from??? The "gay" bible? The "real" Bible states that a man shall cleave unto his wife after he leaves his family's home...it should be man and wife, not man and husband!

You missed qouted. The correct qoute is:
"24 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his WIFE, and they will become one flesh.
25 The man and his WIFE were both naked, and they felt no shame." (NIV)
So no the bible doesn't approve of gay marriage.

Homosexuality is just as human as walking upright...and the people who are afraid of gay marriage as a destructive force can relax for the following reasons. 1) The world is OVER populated and we need MORE gay people. 2) As much as I would like a larger pool of studly men to pick a husband from...the sad truth is that only about 10% of the population is gay. 3) There have been gay men and women since human beings learned how to express themselves and never a war of gay against straight....except to receive equal treatment as human beings.

well Wouldn't it be better to delete your question than answer to God for it??
Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

If you feel that gay marriage is ok then why do you need to look to the bible for affirmation? How about following your own moral code and doing what you feel is right? Unless this question is intended to incite bible toting fury? No matter what the bible says we should live by what we feel is right, wrong and just.
