If they were real yeah maybe.

How 'bout Hansel and Gretel, they should be sainted too.

Sure, sounds good to me...As someone else has said, if you wanna believe she existed, then why not say a big sanctified "thanks very much" to the Big Mama...oh no, wait, the church decreed that only the Virgin Mama could be sanctified, cos she was a Good Girl, rather than the fecund mother of everybody. Can't be fair, can it? I think Eve was robbed of her sainthood by the pesky fruit-monitors!

While we're at it, can I get a vote in for St Judas Iscariot, for bringing about the Resurrection? I mean, ask yourself where Jesus would have been without him? Hanging about the Garden of Gethsemane in his best sandals, not a leper in sight, kicking his heels, that's where!

And - and this bound to be popular - how about some sort of recognition of the role Lucifer played in world history...would have been pretty bloody boring without the whole "appple in the garden" thing, wouldn't it? No knowledge of good or evil...doesn't that make us...like...sheep or something? Would love to get a vote in for Saint Lucifer, but of course he's already supposed to be an Archangel...how about Deputy God Lucifer? He could fill in on the seventh day, when God has to rest so as to set a good example...Any takers?...

Very clever! Yes, Eve should in fact be sainted.

From now on, St. Eve it is. Take that Pat Robertson.

Any one who goes to Heaven is sainted. If Eve is there, then
she's St Eve. To be a saint means to be holy. 1 Peter 1;16,
Be ye holy, for I am Holy.
I Corinthians 13;8a, Love never fails!!!!!

Considering the fact that she had that fruit diet thing going on without discretion, let's just not bring more attention to her than necessary. She's probably cool with Eve.

Well, Eve was deceived by Satan to disobey God and Adam chose to disobey God. Even when God specificially asked them not to disobey him. So, if they were disobedient to God, why would either of them be acceptable to God to receive sainthood?

And as far as sainthood goes, what is God's view of it? After all, shouldn't He be the one who determines whether or not a human should receive such a distinction?

Who ate the apple first? These two beautiful people. Obviously destined to do so. Made to do so by God. So why should they be considered as criminals or disobeying God. Destiny is set by God. So when He has set it, they were actually following what He deemed.

Don't think the first person to ever disobey God should be a saint.
