You cannot help someone if they do not want to help themselves, especially if they don't realize they need help at all. The first step in fixing a problem is realizing you have a problem in the first place.

Believe me, they have already acknowledged their problem without letting anyone know through words. Everyone who displays an amount of anger that people can witness, knows that others can see it. It is the dynamics and underlying issues which prevent the problem from being addressed.
If the displays of anger are affecting others, to an extreme, action has to be taken. If nothing is done, the proportion runs the risk of developing into an out of control situation.
Many times, it is the display itself which is the cry for help. People who have trouble expressing themselves tend to opt for this form of plea for help.
In more extreme cases, anger is generally an outgrowth of control.
If this is the case, someone needs to let this individual know that this is unacceptable.
There exists anger management therapy everywhere. I recommend that you call this place in your area and make an appointment to discuss intervention methods. I would do this quickly to avoid any eruptions that would endanger an already tense situation. Good luck.

You can't help them. You can't guide them into therapy, you can't beg them to stop, and you can't bribe them, even with sex. Anger management courses may help if they HAVE to go (court ordered) but my sister is going through a divorce after 11 yrs of marriage and 2 8 yr old twins and her a**hole husband did anger management for 6 months and he's more of an *** now than he was before. He needs PROFESSIONAL help but says that all the docs are quacks. He puts on a good show but in reality, he hasn't changed at all. It's a sad story and it's all too common. Your friend/husband/wife has an anger problem and until THEY seriously see that they have a problem and they want to change, they won't. It just isn't going to happen and that's the sad part. Sorry for the bad news. Let me know how things work out and reference this email so I remember at replacement_parts@yahoo.com. Goood luck hon.

Anger addict? Someone pissed off all the time?

If that is the case they need to see a shrink. Anyone who's always piss has some really bad problems they need to work out. Those type of people also don't live very long so the sooner the better.

The problem with people that have anger issues is that its very hard to hold a conversation with them about their problems. They typically have a very difficult time talking about anything like a normal person. The only thing that you can do is recommed some kind of professional help.

PRACTISE...PRACTISE & PRACTISE....!

Nothing better than practising by deciding in advance some specific actions...like (a) Deep Breathing (b) Counting 1 to 10 (c) Drink Cold Water (d) No arguments from your side at that particular time (e) YOGA

Otherwise, one should not hesitate in seeing a Psychologist...

I think they can get No help unless they acknowledge their problem-we all get angry sometimes- but staying angry is not normal Don't let yourself be burdened with a person who is angry all the time!
