we are 4 in the house but i am the only one who gets bumps/ bites by these crap! i dont understand why?

I had the same problem a year ago when our dog had really bad fleas. It's no fun, and they are very hard to get rid of. We went to the vet and got Frontline flea treatments for the dog...works very well. We vacuumed the house a couple times a day. If the vacuum has a bag, you must throw the old one away (outside) or if bagless, you must empty it out as soon as you are finished. Make sure you get rid of all that stuff outside or the fleas will escape in the house again. We also put some stuff called Borax (you find this in the laundry detergent isle of stores) on the carpet and used a rake to really get it in there. We would leave it for a while before vacuuming. That also seemed to really help kill off the fleas. We had to continue this process for about 3 weeks. Good luck!!

you are not tastier than the dogs to the fleas what is happening is the flea eggs are hatching and the offspring need their first blood meal, which means whatever is near them they will lastch on and bite, infact you are not a sutable home so they are biting and moving on. the only way to effectivly get rid of them is first to place your pets on a quality flea control product suck as frontline, then you will need to bomb your house with a flea bomb. these take a few hours to do and you must make sure everyone including the pets are out of the house these products will kill anything. but it should elimiante the problem then in a few months when the new eggs hatch that the fleas that are now their have laid you will have to bomb the house again, then they will all be gone. - the key is a good quality flea control product becasue you wnat to kill the fleas before they lay eggs, not to mention the flea products from grocery stores are often low quality and i have seen bad side effects such as seizures from the chemicals that they use.

You probably spend the most time with the dog. Or do sometime silly like letting the dog sleep on the bed.

I think certain people "taste better" to biting bugs. Maybe you're the only one who wears lotion or sorry, gross, maybe your blood is sweeter. Fleas are the pits, do your best to get rid of them right away!!

Do you have carpet in your room???? They love carpet. Do you walk around barefooted?? Wear shoes as much as possible and ditch the carpets. Get flea stuff for the dogs!!!

Taking vitamin B complex helps make you untasty!! So does 3 tbsp of apple cider vinegar a day.

It must be something with your scent or the oils on your skin. My brother was the only one that really ever got bit and they loved his ankles. I myself always had a problem with mosquito's. But everyone else never had a problem with either. I'm not saying no one else ever got bit but it was far less then us.

Seriously, my sister never gets bitten by mosquitos or fleas, while the rest of us are. I don't know why that is.
