For all of you religious people only... did you know that even the Devil quoted scripture from the Bible while he was trying to get Jesus to give into temptation in the desert? I just think that thats just amazing, because there are soooooo many people out there who do not read the Bible, who do not want to read the Bible, and the most evil thing in this universe knew something about it.
Also, if anyone knows the actual scripure where that could be found, it would really help me out for my Sunday school class. I had it marked in my old Bible, but I dont know exactly where the scripture is at now.

Wow, I've gotten some pretty crazy answers... that's why I didnt want to offend anyone about what they were believing is not right. And thats why I said for believers only.... But for those who answered and think that the Bible is crazy think about this : your Satan knew the Bible, at least you can try to be like him and read it too!

Just for the record: I am Christian and I am not saying that anyone who does not read the Bible is evil, they are just lost. Please do not ***-u-me that because I am Christian, I look down on those who aren't. Their time will come to be judged, and it is not my job on earth to judge them. Thank you!

You can find those events in many books:
1. Matthew 4:1 (Whole Chapter)
[ The Temptation of Jesus ] Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil.
2. Mark 1:9 (Whole Chapter)
[ The Baptism and Temptation of Jesus ] At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
3.Luke 4:1 (Whole Chapter)
[ The Temptation of Jesus ] Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the desert,
Enjoy your Sunday school.

Try Matthew 4 Verse 5. I'm not sure if that is what you are talking about or not.
The books that discuss the temptation of Christ are
Matthew 4:1-11, Mark 1:12-13, and Luke 4:1-13

Of course the devil would know scripture, he was an angel and god's number one archangel. As far as people not wanting to know the bible that does not necasarily make them evil as I believe you are trying to imply. Where the devil quotes scripture is found in Mathew 4:5, 6

No, I didn't know.
I don't know if it matters, either, because I don't believe in the christian devil, or the bible, as I am both an atheist and a Satanist.

Luke 4: 9-11 says: 9And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:
10For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
11And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
