My husband does, and we're Christians.

An inherent part of Christianity is the fact that we are not required to live by the law of Moses and so therefore, the presense or lack thereof of facial hair has nothing to do with our faith.

Some Christians have a beard and some don't, but either way, it doesn't particualarly matter, does it?

They don't have a beard because the clean shaven look is the trend right now. When beards were "in" then Christians followed the look that made them "cool" at the time.

There are always exceptions like ZZ Top and their fans... ;-)

Good question. . . I bet there's a verse about it somewhere. . .but maybe not. The only thing I recall is in 1 Corinthians about it being a shame for a man to have long hair. Maybe they took that and went a step father. I know it's supposed to somehow represent a cleaner person/lifestyle. I grew up in a church that literally forbade it, but I don't remember why.

Maybe it's just because the laides don't like being exfoliated every time they make out with their husbands! I know that's my reason for wanting my man (if I had one) to shave!

I'm part Native American, so my attempt to grow a beard makes my face look dirty after about a week.

It's not in fashion right now. The John Denver look suits you nicely, though!

There are at least 45,000 Protestant churches in the U.S.

What caused all these different beliefs if the MESSAGE is so clear?

If Jesus died for our sins, there should not be any more sins, else why go through with it?.

Cause we like being well-shaven. We're not Jewish or Muslim. We have freedom in leaving or cutting a beard.

because some of us cannot manage to keep one, don't like it, cant have it, or just prefer to keep it clean, beards are not very hygienic to keep.

Most Christians just don't like to have an upside down head.

Is it important for you? do you think it should be compulsory?
if you do i think that maybe your thinking Jewish.

Why would that make a difference? It's their soul that's suppose to be saved. Their appearance is not an issue, as long as they follow the scriptures.
