I joined the military to defend the rights that my parents spent more than twenty years defending in the military for me. I joined so that my children would have rights, so my daughter could get a job, so my son can worship God, or Allah, or whomever he chooses. We don't want to die but it's a sacrifice we are willing to make for the good of our country. Someone has to do it and we are willing to step up to the plate. We don't want to die but it's a sacrifice we are willing to make to keep our families, our friends, and strangers we have never met who call themselves Americans free and safe!
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

It's an honorable thing, war. Although dangersous on the front lines, not all men (or women) spend time on the front line. Some troops remain in the rear and offer valuable support to the front line soldiers. Some go because they have enlisted in the military for school, lack of a better job, travel. Defending the nation's interest is always number one, unfortunately in this volunteer American armed services people forget that.

It depends....you cant get general answer to a question like that. in the first world war.. when Russian people hated the king or Czar as he was called., they went to front lines for mother Russia. English always go to war for the king/queen and country ..I guess its more about national pride and about freedom. As they some want to control and some just want to be free.. WW2 when Germany invaded Poland, Briton declared war on Germany..and people will always what ever their opinion will stand up for their country as it represents what they are.. in turn standing up for them selves....( THERE are ofcourse exceptions to this rule. I am sure can think of plenty of examples).

what are you able to do to end the hatred? Mmmm....perchance kill all the human beings who hate westerners. What you fail to contain on your paradigm is that you won't be able to end others from desirous to damage you through appeasing them or putting a flower of their gun barrel. Hatred and animosity will continuously exist via cultural, non secular, ethnic ameliorations. For the record? i have considered many 40 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and 50 3 hundred and sixty 5 days olds available on the battlefield and contained in the protection rigidity precise jointly with the 20 3 hundred and sixty 5 days olds. And opposite to commonplace perception (particularly through foreigners) the U.S. protection rigidity does no longer unavoidably *relish* going to conflict. It sucks seeing associates and comrades die. conflict is often an significant evil to verify a non violent existance for the destiny as hypocritical and antithetical as that sounds.

They go to war, because it is their duty. Just like the women who sign the dotted line on that contract. Honor, Courage, Commitment.

its a job and they get paid for it ...better than most would get paid outside the services...is not that many are the sharpest tool in the shed
if they had free will they wouldn't have enlisted in the first place ...just by going and doing as there told doesn't make them brave ...most wouldn't know how to say no anymore after a few years in the services ....they have to be followers or they couldn't be service personnel...how sad to be told go shoot him ...and they just do it ...
