I will tell you why it hurts. IN the theory of ayurveda, there is something called marmas. These are very sensitive points, where if one is hit, it can produce even death. That is the reason God arranged ovaries inside the pelvis and testicles between legs. He never wanted these things hurt.
Prana or vitality resides in marmas. The adventurous person is called "veer" and semen is called veerya, meaning that the courage and guts are attributable to semen. NOw can you imagine a guy fighting without courage or guts! By the way, even colon is a marma where Prana resides. Hence when they use third degree methods on spies, they cause hurting in there! OOOHHHHH, they are not acting. Over dramatic, probably, but that is a very sensitive area. Did you ever ride a bike as a kid and for some reason come down on the seat hard, maybe a slip or a bump. Excruciating pain. I'm sure that's what they feel.

No offenses meant to anyone so don't report me geez.
I suspect in comparison, being hit/kicked in the groin/genitals might equate,,, to some degree, to the pain of giving birth, though shorter in duration and without the eventual reward...In fact enough damage done might prevent that male from helping to create a pregnancy.

It really hurts...its a pain that goes up to the belly.
If it is a bad hit, you find it difficult to stand, everything becomes blury, you get pale, and you might faint or throw up.
It happened to me once, a girl hit me by accident and people thought I did drugs becuase I was so pale and my lips turned purple..

It really hurts. Same for a girl. If you get kicked between your legs it hurts like hell!!
