they shed their hair and stay in cool places. What I do is put a fan on the floor to give them air and put ice cubes in their drinking water to help them

Outdoor cats generally shed. Also, cats have a much higher body temperature than people, so they can withstand heat better. Cats can also pant to let out heat.
I've had cats that sit in front of fans as well.

My cats used to stretch out in the shade and if the shady spot was on cement they would flatten themselves out to get as much coolness as possible. Our porch was always shady, so the cats were always nice and cool there.

they pant like a dog if they get real hot, my cat used to lie in the bathroom sink to stay cool.
