The philosophical question "What is the meaning of life?" means different things to different people. The vagueness of the query is inherent in the word "meaning", which opens the question to many interpretations, such as: "What is the origin of life?", "What is the nature of life (and of the universe in which we live)?", "What is the significance of life?", "What is valuable in life?", and "What is the purpose of, or in, (one's) life?". These questions have resulted in a wide range of competing answers and arguments, from scientific theories, to philosophical, theological, and spiritual explanations.

To start with... You are here to bring your dreams into the world and make it a better place. Most are hung up on loving others, this is not a goal it is just a FUNDAMENTAL requirement... if you don't love others you can never realise your true dream / purpose of your existence

The first thing you have to do is learn how to listen to yourself (remember you can only hear yourself when to give up your fear and simply love {it sets you free}) then and only then can to BEGIN to have purpose.

The goal is like this... to find purpose in your dream then you will see your goal.

you have a mind? Yes... so start to imagine... imagine you are connected to the beginning of everything. IT ALL STEMS from there. (Note: many I have met do not have a mind and so will never imagine)

do you want to know more?

The ultimate goal is Physical Immortality and [spiritual] Eternal Life ... but we will not receive this until we have undergone all the challenges and tests of mortality and even further into the After-life period.

Our purpose here is the pursuit of happiness and joy.
We will achieve these gradually as we learn to obey and discover all the commandments and more and more of the principles of life ... as we learn that sacrifice brings forth the blessings of Heaven ... and gain the satisfaction and peace that comes as we learn to OVERCOME and actually accomplish it.

Revelations opening chapters tell us much about the importance of Overcoming all.

We have come here to receive bodies [though they be imperfect at this stage], to learn to develop faith when away from God our Eternal Father, and to be tested and tried and Overcome ALL of life's challenges - though we often need to call upon the help of our very Maker to do so.

Brother, the purpose of life is to serve God by loving him and caring for each other.

The final goal, many would have you believe, is to arrive in Heaven after death. I believe the final goal is to achieve our purpose, and Heaven is just God's gift to us.

The same purpose/beginning goal of life - to love the Lord with all your heart, soul, and mind and seek his Kingdom trusting that all needs will be met accordingly and to worship the Lord thy God and him alone.

I think, the ultimate purpose is to restore our broken relationship with our heavenly Father and creator. Everything else, including real life itself, starts from this point onwards. The ultimate goal is to live with Him forever. This starts from this life by manifesting His nature, which is genuine love, to the people around us.

I guess that reallly depends on the person's veiws. I think (and you don't have to) that life's purpose is simply to enjoy it, live it to the fullest, and make a small mark in at least one person's life.
