There is often a confusion between Cole Porter and Irving Berlin. It was Berlin's father who met King Solomon. However, when it was deemed that he should have sex with a zulu the only way out of it was to teach the King how to divide by six. He demonstrated this using a ghoti.
It is true to say though that only Cole Porter at that time knew what a ghoti was besides Irving Berlin.

You've got your facts slightly confused...... it was a Porter called Cole who taught King Zulu of the Solomans to divide by 6.
