You're not gonna get fluent in 6 months not even in one language let alone 2.
Much more likely to be a couple of years.
You need to be speaking the language daily for at least a couple of hours a day preferably with a native speaker

Impossible to learn both fluently in under 6 months. The best way would be to go to France or Spain (or another Spanish-speaking country) and do a very intensive course where you would only be allowed to speak that language, and you would do 6-8 hours study per day, as well as having to live in that country, i.e. getting shopping, getting accommodation/talking to others in that accommodation, ...

There are some great language courses by Michel Thomas that included French and Spanish.
Each consists of 8 one hour CDs (or 2 CDs for the quick course)
You can get the complete courses from Amazon. Your local library might even have them for loan!
They are amazing. I did the 2-CD Italian course (over the space of two weeks) and I had enough Italian to get by in a little Sardinian village where nobody spoke any English.
It doesn't cover written language but you could certainly get conversational.

Hello,
That is great, that you want to study these two languages undersix months. Be aware nothing is accomplished overnight okay.
Pimsleur Recorded books and Rosetta stone are very similar they are like recoreded conversations that you can put on your cd or download unto your mp3 player, they also cut some money, i would recommend you borrowing it from your library.
Teach yourself Spanish and Teach youself french are great introductory books, which take it step by step, i could also recommend you checking this out in your library but if you want to buy it go ahead, it can be purchased via amazon.
Oxford take off in Spanish or Latin american Spanish, and not to forget the french one as well this is also a good introductory courses specifically for begineers to intermediate level.
Get a good gramman book as well, which can assist you in maitianing the syntax of Spanish and also French.
Living language series are also good as well and mastering spanish is great i borrowed this from my library, this edition is by FSI, the one i have and it takes you through the pronunciation stages, so you'll pronunce like a native.
www.byki.com, this is a free website where you can download some free courses on French and Spanish and can help you with listening and also speaking.
Remember to listen and watch Spanish and French movies because they help quite well.
If you are thinking of getting a phrasebook, try lonelyplanet and tough guide because they give you the pronunciation guide and not to forget Berlitz, they are also doing an essential guide for language learning which comes in Spanish

my second language is German, i moved 2 Germany for work reasons and in 4 months i spoke German extremely well in 6 months i hardly had an problems understanding and in speaking.
writing and reading was still not great but i was there for 1 year and i can read and write in German great.
I also must say when i went out there i knew nothing and the German i learnt at school for three years meant nothing and didn't help me one bit.
The best thing to do is go out there and learn the best way you can by being surrounded by those who speak. in weeks you will notice how much you have picked up and understood.

Only if you're a real whizz!
Go to the south of France, where most people speak both languages and you'll pick it up soon enough... but I doubt it if you'll be able to speak both languages fluently in just 6 months.

You wont be fluent in both in 6 months.
The best chance you have of becoming fluent in a foreign language in 6 months is living and working in that country, something that I have always fancied doing.

There are plenty of courses or teach yourself systems about that you might be able to get quite good, if not fluent, in 6 months - but they wont be free.
