During the "teen" years, the neurons and electrons in the brain are experimenting with logic paths. This routing and rerouting takes from 3 to 5 years for the average individual. The know it all phase, is one that allows for freedom of speech, and empowerment, if it were to be stifled, it only comes back in the form of anger later in life. My recommendation is to grin and bear all the abnormalities, and just sit back and enjoy the show!!!

yeah they eventually get out of that now it all stage but it takes awhile. trust me when they get older and have kids of their own they will say they are sorry 500 times because then they really know how you felt as a mother. give it time and just try to work with them and never ever give up on them. teach them everything you can and then some. things will work out and in no time you guys will be laughing about this. good luck

I'm right there with you and so is every parent of a teen. People on here who say differently have never experienced their precious babies in teen years yet. It is all a part of growing up.............pray, be patient, and pray some more.
