If you want to do this it is for life so you need to totally change your way of eating and exercising. This is not a diet rather than a healthy eating plan for life. So no more talking diet cause it means time limit.

Here are the golden rules:
Initially cut down to 1200 (women) - 1500 (men) calories.
Exercise 6 times per week for 1 hours a day. Do three weight sessions and three cardio sessions. No gym involved if you don't have the access.
Don't eat carbs after 4pm, never eat carbs within 2 hours of exercise or within 1 hour of exercise.
Drink 3 litres of water per day. You can have a green tea at the end of the day.
Limit your fruit in take to 2 pieces per day.
Never eat dinner after 6pm.
Adopt of low GI eating plan this is sustainable for life!
Make low fat dairy choices

Follow this menu plan as a suggestion:
Breakfast 7am - 1 cup hot water w lemon
20 minutes later have a bowel of oats w water (no honey) OR
fruit salad w low GI soy yogurt
Snack 10am - pear or apple (both low GI)
Lunch 12.30pm - muligrain sandwich w 50g tuna & salad (no butter)
Snack 3pm - low GI yogurt OR skim berry smoothie (no honey or banana) plenty of ice, 1/2 cup skim milk & 1/4 cup yogurt
Dinner 5.30pm - 120g grilled lean meat/fish/prawns/tofu patties (not fried) w spinach salad & mixed vegies (no whites, carbs) OR 3 egg white/soy omlette with ham, cheese and tomato
Snack - 1 scoop of low cal low fat ice cream (if hungry)

Exercise is must be intense. Refer to www.bodybuilding.com for your weights routine. Never do weights two consecutive days have a cardio day in between.

Cardio needs to include running, go hard up stair wells and cycling. If you have access to a gym include boxing and spin classes as well. You get the most benefits from exercise when your body is totally fatigued and this is when you see changes.

To maintain you can increase calories to 1500 (women) - 1800 (men) and reduce exercise sessions to 3-4 times per week. If weight creeps up again due to holiday period etc.. go back to 1200 (women) - 1500 (men) cal and 6 sessions again.

Good luck it worked for me it can work for anyone.

You are 13 and are still growing. However, it's never too early to begin a healthy lifestyle. The result will be a better you.

First and foremost, start learning how to be comfortable with you. Just because you want a "hot guy" does not mean he is the right guy. You will learn that in the next 10 to 15 years. The best way to attract attention is to be yourself and be happy with yourself.

Second, if you want to loose weight, you need to eat a healthy, balanced diet. Make sure to take an appropriate multi-vitamin. Stay away from empty calories... regular soda, candy, chips, junk food. Make smart choices when you go to restaraunts... including McDonalds. Try grilled chicken with no sauce, a small fry, and a bottle of water or a diet soda. Make sure to eat fruits and veggies instead of snack food. Lightly salted nuts are a good choice too. Watch higher fat foods (cheese, dips, sauces, etc.) Go to smaller portions.

Third, increase your activity level. Walk to your friend's house if it is safe. Take a walk around your neighborhood. A 30 minute walk every day is one of the best, low impact workouts you can do.

Just remember, you didn't put the weight on over night and it won't come off over night. Be patient, be smart, and be healthy.

Last, talk to you mom about the fact that you want to have a healthy lifestyle. It's not a bad thing to change your hair or want to loose weight. Just remember, you need to do it for you and you alone.

Oh yea, wait a while before you start coloring your hair. Once you start... the damage begins. Play with styles first. The longer you can hold off processing your hair, the better it will look and the healthier it will be.

Firstly you can lose as much weight as you want in a short time period, however, you will gain it back. I am speaking from experience from someone who has been there done that with fad diets. There is the obvious liposuction, however, the recovery time is 3 – 6 months and it sounds as though that you’re in a rush to lose the weight for possibly an event with no downtime to spare. I am and have been on weight watchers for 2 years and lost 25 lbs. It was a slow and steady race, however, I haven’t gained the weight back ‘cause my diet has been stabilized and so was the weight loss from 0.5 – 1 lb/week. Remember the weight gain didn’t happen overnight, it happened slowly over time, the same is with proper healthy weight loss, you can’t have/perform miracles over night. These are some things that I do. 1. Drink lots of water as it kept me full longer. 2. Used an appetite suppressant like hoodie to make sure I don’t go over my daily calorie intake. 3. Did cardio and toning 3 – 4 times a week. 4. Made meal and recipe modifications as I cooked. 5. When I dined out, I made sure that I wasn’t shy about asking the kitchen to make modifications like dressing/sauce on the side, half portion ordered the kids meal etc. 6. Brushing teeth after every meal, the mint acts like an appetite suppressant and without the taste in your mouth, you can easily forget about the food. 7. Never drank diet cola, the aspartame actually made me crave food more for some reason. 8. At work I take a break before lunch and either take the stairs in the building or just general toning without weights. We have a gym at work so I do about 15 minutes of weights which not only gets my blood flowing but releases tension from a**hole customers. 9. Bought snacks in bulk (to save money) and properly measured what a cup or portion was and made individual baggies. There are some snacks on the market that are 100 calorie snacks, however, I find those to be too expensive than just buying in bulk and separating the portions yourself. Also by physically separating them yourself, you get an idea of what a portion is supposed to be and you learn to properly eye ball correct portions.

You have to first make sure you are losing the weight for YOU, not some body else. Then you start walking, I did 30 minutes a day 5 days a week. Then you have to have a good diet, I ate 5 small meals a day, it keeps you satisfied all day long. But you can't have like 5 hamburgers a day or 5 bologna sandwiches. Eat smart and very healthy. No snacking either, and do not eat after 7:00 at night, if you feel hungry drink a bottle of water, that is another key too, drink lots of water. I am not big on water, BUT my cousin who lost 90 pounds by doing what I am telling you, drank a bottle of water before every small meal she ate.

Be very careful. Quick weight loss can come back double when you stop whatever you were doing to cause it to happen.

If you really want to lose weight and look better the best approch is exercize and a careful healthy diet.

Eat more salads, cut out or back sugar, Eat more hole grain rather than processed flower poducts, cut back on fryed foods.

Safest diet is slow and steady. Look only to lose a few pounds a week and you will hit your target in no time.

Set a goal. Work out a plan. But whatever you do, do not use quicky methods or fad diets they will do more damage to your body than good.

Portion control works well also, if your reasonably healthy then just cut back a little of what you already eat and increase your exercize every day.

Exersize 30 minutes a day, cut out soda's and junk food. You should be eating 1,200 calories a day, that will help you lose weight. You can lose about 10 pounds in 5 weeks. So i would say If you stay on track you could lose 15 pounds in about 2-3 months. Make sure you read the nutriton labels, check for fat content, calories, and serving size. For example, if a box of crackers says 6 servings, and it is 60 calories each and you eat the whole box...then that is not good. Ask your mom or dad for help with that. Good luck :)

You could probably be 15 pounds lighter by Summer's end, so you could go back to school thinner.

the idea when losing weight is to actually burn more calories than you consume and this is when you begin losing the pounds, a good idea is to have a healthy breakfast, maybe a bowl of oatmeal and instead of that oily butter and sugary sugar, try adding some jelly for flavor, for lunch you should have a small salad, and go for some picantes sauce for your dressing instead of a full of fat dressing, for dinner eat something BEFORE 6 pm but something that will provide that full feeling throughout the night, like a skinless chicken breast, at your age it may be hard to diet as you are limited to the things your family fixes for dinner, so when all else fails load up on veggies and plenty of water, stay away from the salt it will only bloat you up, a good idea if you wanna be really serious is to count calories and fat grams, try to stay at or under 2000 calories or 62 fat grams a day. and remember when you are doing nothing, get up and go for a walk, take the stairs not the elevator, and even standing still bouncing your foot(called fidgeting) burns some calories.....good luck

First thing is get up early in the morning, eat only one slice of wheat bread per day, drink only water, no colas or other sugared drinks, eat vegetables and white meat whether it is tuna, chicken or pork, or lean beef. When you SIGH while eating, it is a sign to STOP EATING, no matter what is on your plate.
Eat fruits for dessert: strawberries, oranges, apples, pears. No potatoes or macaroni and cheese.
Don't sit. Walk, Run, Ride a bicycle for at least an hour a day. You will lose weight and still be in health. Good luck, little sister. God bless you.

Basiclly at 13 you really cant take the diet supplements that you see on tv and in magazines, soooo you have to do it the old fashion way......eat a strict diet and go running. Id say lay off sweets, fatty foods, and carbs. For instance; eat more fish and chicken instead of beef, and try skin or even whey milk. And for running just use the treadmill or jog outside for 2-3 miles its nice out

Cut down on sugar and white bread. Think it over: how much sugar and white bread to you consume pr day? write it down to be aware of this. Do not stop eating though. Just change the white bread with whole grain; soda with water, candy with fruit or vegetable.

Move your body. Dance, walk, jump for 30 minutes every day.

Drink at least 10 glasses of water every day.

Three things to remember. Low sugar, 30 minutes activity and 10 glasses of water. Good luck.

This should do the trick
