I have 2 jobs, I've been sleeping 6 hours for a long time. Even though everyone's awake until midnight, I've been doing an effort of sleeping at 10:00 PM and sleeping 8 hours. I wake up with my face blowed, and really drowsy. Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Your body sleeps in 1.5 hour sections and you feel the best when you sleep in multiples of 1.5 hours. So sleeping 6 hours is exactly 4 shifts. Sleeping 8 hours is 5 and a third shifts so you're waking up in the middle of a cycle.

Different people demand different amount of sleep. Usually women need more than men. It depends on how much stress your nervous system undergoes every day, on how much you work, on the condition of your health, etc. Sleep isn't just a form of rest! Sleep plays a critical physiological function, and is indispensable for your intellectual development! Those who do not respect their sleep are not likely to live to their full mental potential!
