I have 3 children all born in the same month within a couple weeks of eachother, I am planning a party for the 3 of them together, is this wrong??? Other people in our family have children born in the same month too, so I don't want one child to be left out, due to the fact other family may be busy. This party is only for family, not the kids' friends.

No, I don't see anything wrong with having a bash for all three of your children at the same time! Whoop it up - rent a moon bounce & do make your own subs. Have ice cream cones & sparklers, turn on the sprinkler & let everybody get wet - it will be a blast & the kids will remember how much YOU love them & what a great time THEY had!! Get lots of pictures!! Have fun!!

Go ahead and do it. If the kids agree and only family is coming then you should be OK. As for the guy who said the kids would feel "grouped", just ask the kids. And if they do feel grouped just let them each have one Friend over on a different day and have something small like cupcakes. That way they will each get their own little party and your not spending a fortune.

Hm, sounds fine to me! As long as your three kids are okay with it, I'm sure you can do it! But it may be a little hard, coordinating the cake and the food and the party favors.
Just a side note, don't throw one of these parties for the kids' friends...unless you have twins.

I think that is a great idea. Many families do it that way. They have all the family birthdays on one day. Why not individualize it with a small homemade cake for each child and they get to choose how the cake is decorated...buy plastic figures to put on it etc. Let each child pick their favorite food item to be served at dinner, etc.
Then on their individual day.......let them choose a friend to come over and do soemthing special with them.
Have fun!

For 10 years I had to share my birthday with my two cousins, as we were two weeks apart. One year, they forgot to put my name on the cake. One year I didn't get the same amount of presents, and one year I got spanked for blowing out their candles by accident. (How can you just successfully blow out a few candles on one cake?)
Anywho, no do not lump their parties together. I have 7 kids. Two which have birthdays in February. They can invite 2 others to their party and then we have family. I try to make it as individual as possible. If they're not twins, don't treat them as such.

I really think a joint party at least for the family is ok. Especially if you are having separate parties for their friends. They will think its great to have 2 birthday parties.

I think one big family party is a great idea. Everyone is so busy all of the time, that it's easier for everyone to make it on one day.

there is nothing wrong with having one party for all 3 kids. just make sure all of them have a say in type of decorations, food, cake, etc.

Yes, have their birthdays on the same day. I do this with relatives who have them in one month. I do however, make them their own cakes or cookie cakes in whatever theme they want. Each has their own set of presents and this makes them feel special.
