No one is really tackling terrorism...they're dealing with it. It's something that isn't going to be wiped out until people learn to get along and resolve their petty differences like people instead of savages. You hear about bombing in Israel and Palestine almost weekly...that doesn't sound like they're tackling the problem to me. Terrorism is an idea and an action. It's hard to get rid of those two things...it's easier if it wes one specific person or group.

I have this 2 schools of thoughts,

In Asia, country generally are not as aggressive as the westerner. Like China, their military straight were felt in many south east Asia region all the way to Africa since 13th century, but they never colonised any one.

Same as China, in India, they could have done so in the 2 front war back in 1971, but they never take any land from them. From that battle, now we have Bangladesh.

So, Indian aren't as aggressive as they should have been.

Second school of thought is, In India most of the people believe in Hinduism. For the Muslim, they believe that once they die, especially in holy war, they will surely goes to happen. But the Hindu ain't sure of where they will go after they die, so better don't fight.

Anyway, this is only my personal prospective.
