What are the disadvantages of men putting on too much weight?

Fat women seem to get it even worse so the same would apply to a woman. (Even those who aren't overweight at all tend to be mindful not to put any on.)

The disadvantages start with just plain physical health. Weight affects the entire body. For example, if you are 10 lbs over weight, you put an additional 40 lbs of pressure on your legs and the joints. It affects almost every aspect of life.

i think its probably worse for a woman to put on weight, most men end up with a 'beer belly!' where as in todays society-girls that are large get the micky taken?!!

Theres the obvious health issues like the strain on the heart and increased chance of diabetes and the fact that large men are only seen as potential boyfriends by less women as not many women like fat or obese men.
