While a huge amount of research has gone into these diseases, the only "preventatives" we have at this point are lifestyle ones. Healthy diet, healthy weight, no smoking, etc. reduce your chances of developing these diseases, but these are not 100%. If you do develop these diseases, early detection and treatment are essential. High blood pressure and diabetes are quite controllable if patients follow their prescribed regimens. My mom had seriously high blood pressure when it was first discovered in her 50s, but she's still doing fine in her 80s. When my blood pressure went up only slightly in my 40s, my doctor insisted on treating it right away, and I've kept it well under control. However, I know people that ignored the problem and are now on dialysis because of kidney failure. Cancer is much more of a mixed bag, because some cancers are slow-growing and quite treatable, whereas others are extremely aggressive and almost impossible to stop. Researchers are working at understanding the mechanisms of cancer, and I assume someday (hopefully in the near future) we will know how to prevent or at least quickly cure many forms of cancer. It's a matter of time and good research. In the meantime, do your part by choosing a healthy lifestyle and having regular checkups and just being careful (there are a lot of other things besides disease that could kill you, too).

Not made yet. The notion that you can create a vaccine against something that is not bacterial or viral in nature is specious!
The best treatment for these is prevention. High fiber diets with leafy vegetables and healthy living are preventative of these diseases.
Keep in mind that cancer is not one disease but several hundred different types. There are so many causes for cancer that it is mathematically improbable to come up with one.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

Only one - there is a vaccine to prevent cervical cancer. That is all. Hopefully someday there will be more but for now we just have to take care of ourselves. Eat right and exercise and you can prevent high BP and diabetes and even some cancers. Sorry about your parents, cancer got my Dad, too. Take care.

There are no vaccines in this world for the said non communicable diseases. Preventive measures are there. For diabetis and Hypertension(BP) restrict your fat diet and extra table salt, do exercise walking, bring down your weight if u r in excess, check your waist Normal is 36inches, check cholesterol levels, and triglycerides, weight, and Blood pressure. This gives you the preventive measure rather than be afraid to die or vaccines.

there is a new vaccine for cervical cancer on the horizon---dont think any of the others have any vaccine. but, who knows what the future will bring?
if you are worried about genetics and whether you will "inherit" these diseases then you need to do everything you can NOW to prevent them later and so you need to read everything related to those diseases so that you will be well informed. the best to you!

there r no vaccines for these conditions. The only thing u can do is try and prevent by exercising, leading a healthy lifestyle, no smoking, eat healthy (lots of fruit and veg), especially avoid sugar and carbs like potato and breads. your parents died of cancer then unfortunately u do have a higher risk of getting cancer, but its not immpossible for u never to get cancer. also make sure u take care of yourself and go for regular check ups with your doctor.

No profit in a cure. Never was and never will. There is always money for research and there for, there will never be a cure.
Eating healthy may reduce the chance of getting cancer. But, we are exposed too many toxins in our lives.
