Refer to the website www.bodybuilding.com for weights and strength exercises as these are pivotal when losing weight.

Try to mix your cardio up more, too much running is not good on your body and placing too much stress on the same muscles. When you run did it three times per week but break it into different rountines:
Day 1 - maintain a run same pace for 1 hour
Day 3 - find a steep hill and run up as fast as you can, slow jog down then repeat until you get to an hour OR run up & down sand dunes
Day 6 - do sprints for 100m in between do 50 alternate lunges then sprint 100m then 50 deep squats, 100m sprints 50 push ups, 100m sprints 50 deep sit ups, etc...keep it going this will totally tire you out.

Day 2 / Day 4 / Day 7 - do weights using cans or brooms etc.. paint tins as you get stronger. Refer to website.

Day 5 - bike ride go find a track and ride for 3 hours OR mountain hike 3 hours

Buy some DVD's for when you want to do something a little different.

A good workout is stepping on a bench. Depending on your height, whatever the inseam length of your pants to your ankles, take half of this for the height of your bench. Ex: 29" lenghth, your bench should be at least 14" high. Step up and down alternating legs with each step for 30 to 45 minutes. This is a great workout, especially with good 130 beats per minute music. You can actually do pushups every 5 minutes while stepping and continue stepping until the next 5 minutes and do more pushups. Situps can be done after you finish stepping. Hope this helps.

while everyone has answered your initial question (yes there are workout facilities everywhere, including ships at sea).. You must understand that it may not be possible to guarentee time will be available for you to work out 4 days a week. During Basic training/Bootcamp, you'll be working out every day..often a whole lot longer than you want to. Schooling often has mandadtory PT at least three times a week, but once you hit the Fleet/Field, your days may be kept busy doing other things.

if you have access to a swimming pool I would do laps. Swimming is a great total body work out. Maybe get some elastic bands or some dumbells for resistance.

You can get a good work out if you jog or even walk. Maybe put weights on your arms and legs as you run. Jog/walk longer and faster. You would feel it then!
