I prefer to speak it with no accent

By the way, there is no such thing as a British accent. Britain is a political construct made up of three different countries; England, Scotland and Wales (the UK includes Northern Ireland). To speak with a British accent you would have to have some kind of combination of all three accents - which would be definitely strange.

When most foreigners think of a 'British' accent they are actually thinking of what we call an RP English accent (Received Pronunciation - like an old fashioned BBC newsreader, or slightly less posh than Hugh Grant).

Both, I'm American and i used to speak in a Southern Drawl and now i speak accentless English. But I like how the British accent sounds.

It's easier to understand American English than British. By the way, I'm from Philippines.

I prefer a West Coast accent. Some of the American accents leave a lot to be desired.

I live in Poland, but since I grew up in the States I prefer the American accent.

I'm Japanese and prefer an American accent. Because I apply for green card lottery every year. I can be American easily if some American girl get married to me.lol

I switch depending on where I am in the world.

US accent in USA/Canada, proper (Oxford-style) English in the rest of the world. ;) Oh, and I'm neither American nor British.

Since am in India, I prefer da American accent..as mosta da time we're watchin American sitcoms, movies, dramas, music..
