Name a star after him/her!!!
You can buy a certificate, keep it and give it to him/her as a present when he/she turns 21 or whatever age you like...but he/she has to be old enough to appreciate it!

A small informal party. Have a small cake just for the baby and let the baby go at it (without candles). With my oldest child turned one, I did a huge party and he was too little to even enjoy it. It was NOT worth the stress. Good luck!

have a family birthday. buy a litle cake for the baby and let him destroy/eat it. Makes for great memories and pictures.

well, only parents will remember, so I would suggest, family around and a cake that suits their personality.
there favorite food.
