If you put a small cup with a couple of tablespoons of vinegar in your fridge or whereever, that should take away some odours. It lasts for as long as you want. If something is smelling that is what you take out in the first place. When you have cleaned and used the vinegar for a night or so, the odour is gone. It also helps in a room if you had a party the night before and someone smoked. Takes away the smell.

Baking soda? Haven't heard that one before - maybe it does; now you can try both see whats best for you.

Baking soda does not remove the odors from the fridge.

This was started by Arm&Hammer in an advertising campaigne in order to sell more of their product.

It sounds like it will work so people easily bought into it, and Arm&Hammer sale skyrocketed.

It does freshen your kitchen drain when poured down it. This is because it nutralizes the acids in the gunk build up on the pipe walls. The acids are what generate the odors.

If it makes you feel better to use it, then use it. As cheap as it is would only cost $10 a year changing it every month.

I have used the baking soda box as well it works a treat. It lasts for about a month. I also use an onion cut in half and put into two corners of your room when you have partied all night, gets rid of all nasty smells, like tobacco smells, and if you are decorating and using smelly gloss paint, the onion is fantastic for removing all the nasty odour........

bypass by and throw out some thing that should be causing the scent. Wash the unit with a bleach answer (positioned on old outfits). Open a field of baking soda and depart it interior for some days.

you replace your ARM & HAMMER Fridge-n-Freezer Odor Absorber boxes every 3 months to keep food tasting like it should. And when you do, replace your Whirlpool water filter at the same time.
