Those who insult you are just thick, sweetie. Wait 'til they've grown up enough to make a few mistakes and live a life! He caught you at a moment of vulnerability and used you; that makes him a bastard not a **** of you. You've realised it wasn't a great move on your part so just be proud of that and the knowledge you won't do it again. Get a pregnancy test* asap but hopefully it'll be negative; it is mainly your guilt at 'letting yourself down' that is the issue here. We're none of us perfect. Believe it or not, you've just made a big leap in moving your life away from this bloke because you know this is not what you want. Well done for that and hold your head high; it's him, not you. *Edit - please don't take this the wrong way but an STD test would be a good idea too.

Depends on what pill you are one. Missing a single pill will reduce your protection, but it does not mean that you *will* be pregnant. Remember the pill is over 99% effective. Check your packet information about what to do if you miss a pill. Setting a cellphone or watch alarm to remind you to take your pill everyday is a good id.a or switching to the Nuva Ring, shot or patch might be a good idea also. Keep taking your pills and don't worry too much (if you are pregnant and plan on keeping it, there are no known negative effects of taking birth control during early pregnancy) . If you miss your period, take a test. Good luck!

You should be worried, a lot of woman get pregnant even if they do drink their pills.
If you had unprotected sex, rather take home pregnancy test just to be sure. You can harm baby if you keep on using the pill.
Remember some antibiotics also affects the pill.

yeah i would worry about it, anytime that you forget to take a pill, you need to be worried about this. and always have protected sex, even if you had taken the pill. since this happened last night, i would call your doctor and explain what happened, and that you are worried about possibly getting pregnant, and that maybe the morning after pill might be an option for you. good luck sweetie

No, you should not be too worried. The % of getting pregnant in two healthy adults is in the range of 22% during your ovulation period.
I am not saying it is far fetched, but it is a reasonaly small % and take into consideration that pills tend to reduce fertility even further.

I would not worry about it unless you are not ready to have a kid. Just to be on the safe side, I would go ahead and stop using the pill and see the doctor.

It sucks to be you. Sorry but you better keep an eye out for the next few weeks or month. Make sure you take your meds in the future or have your boyfriend use a condom.
