Minimal. Iran think about possibly looking to get a nuclear power station and threats are made. N korea displays that it has intercontinental capabilities and US says they want to negotiate.

N korea would never use a nuclear weapon. Their weapon just gives them a chip to bargain at the big boys table

I think the odds are low.. In less we want to start WAR WORLD 3... Because once we do that here comes China.. ready to step in. There are only a few communist countrys left being Cuba, China, North Korea, and I think Vientnam during that War.. So you have to belive that these countrys keep some kind of ties with eachother. Just like we have Englands back... You have to believe to some point those countrys cover eachother.. Plus ever since the Korena War we stoppped at ended with only part of Korea.. Is it ironic that North Korea is connnected to china. IN both of these Wars there was some kind of comprmise.... Are country inches closer and closer... At some point something is gonna budge... With this war in Iraq there are huge implications for stratiic points for our countrys mitltary. Boming North Korea is not in our favor now... I think that would open up another can of worms..

Are some of you people that distrusting of your government that every time there's some sort of political tension you think we're going to bomb them?

The United States and UN avoided a confrontation with North Korea a couple of years ago when their leader touted that they had nuclear weapons and were capable of striking mainland Japan.

If it is apparent that we are headed for a conflict with North Korea an all out bombing is or only alternative. We can not match their standing military nor risk China coming in on there side.It would need to be fast total destruction and be ready to fight China.

Odds are for sure like 150,000,000-1. Most of what you hear is Liberal media trying to scare the people. Just like the White House will not invade Iran, but yet the media makes it sound like we are going in tomorrow. People remember the ABC,CBS,and Nbc are all very Liberal networks and report so a Democrat will take office. Not the greatest Bush fan but oh my God if idiot Kerry would have won.

There are no odds we arent going to bomb them, its not that serious the media is just blowing it out of proportion that missile if fired will land in the ocean and thats it. They will probably fire it at Japan before us anyway.

Do not believe we will bomb North Korea.
Just shoot the missile right out of the sky, show them that our defense works, then open the talks because they will not know how far it would have gone, so the idiot will not know if it was any good or not.

1 chance in 10!
with our toehold in south Korea, it is more feasible to set up anti-missile batteries along the western corridor as well as ship board platforms along the 38th parallel!
besides, it will be a (walk in the park) to just send in undercover ops to neutralize the threat before unexpected political pressures threaten to make a nuclear launch an imminent reality as opposed to a hypothetical one!

Hopefully we won't. We will be shooting the missile they have aimed at our heartland down, because we do not know what is in it. Odds are one day we will probably be forced to fire a missile at them.
