It's sometimes true what they say about time can be a good healer. It can all depend on the circumstances. Dont give people your heart until you are truely sure that they are the one for you but you have to be ultimately sure otherwise you may only get hurt again. Your heart will mend in time dont worry.
My boyfriend left me when he found out I was pregnant with his baby and told me he wanted nothing to do with me or his baby, that killed me inside but after that I forgot about searching for love and I let time do the healing for me and now the most wonderful guy has come along and he is willing to take on the baby as his own when its born. So yeah a broken heart can be mended it's just a matter of time. Dont rush things.

I think it does mend, and over time you learn to cope with it-and see it as an experience and something that will make you stronger for next time round! (if there is a next time :) )
I had a really bad relationship before my current partner, who i have been with for a year now-and i was always optimistic in the sense that i didnt let that bad experience and abusive relationship that i had previously get in the way of future relationships.
You often find that the best way to men a broken heart-is to have confidence in yourself and to be optimistic-and most of all, to be open to future relationships, which can numb the pain. I have since forgotten all about my absuive relationship and am very happy!
good luck xx

Nope. A broken heart is a broken heart. No wonderful someone else can ever fix that even with all the lovey dovey in the world if you have given yourself and more for the one who broke your heart. You just kinda unconsiously build a wall around you and never let anybody close enough to heal it, unless one point in time, you say with conviction "okay, im done. Its a beautiful time for a fresh start. Let somebody beautiful in." Otherwise, your only hope would be pacemaker.

From life experiences.....yes your heart will heal -- if you want it to, and with time. Someone answered that you will build a wall or form a scab over the hurt. You can if you want. But it will keep you from enjoying all of what life can offer you. Remember, every single person is different. Let yourself love and trust again. Just be a little more cautious that's all. Good luck in life!

Yes, it mends. Then as the blood dries, it scabs over. Then your new girlfriend does something to pick at the scabs. Ow! Owww! After awhile you have a heart that has allot of scars from the battles of 'lookin for love in all the wrong places.' (sniffle) -hope.

Yes, as time goes by, you realize in your heart that you can't live life mulling over with what could have been.Time indeed does heal a broken heart. This is from personal experience.

Yes if you believe in yourself and you believe it will be one day. When it is filled with new love, which is sometimes even better and even more fulfilling it makes the hearbreak so much more copable. Although it can take a long time it will be a distant memory one day! Be happy!

A broken heart is glancing at the pictures of the two of you, and then quickly turning your attention to something else, to avoid your tears
