First of all I'm sorry for your loss. If he had wanted to share this information with you he would have told you his ID. My family and I know each others ID and frequently watch each other get on this site. Remember him the way you knew him. You may be disappointed in some of the stuff he asked or answered here. Some of this stuff is so dirty and you would not want to remember him as visiting those questions to answer if he did. Not saying he did but you never know. Just love him for what you know of him and remember him with fondness. God bless you for the love you have for your brother.

I am sorry for your loss. Contact Yahoo, and explain the circumstances, perhaps someone from the company can help you recover the account, and the information in it.

I don't think you can unless you have power of attorney. Even then, you may not want to. There are somethings that you just do not go through. Private correspondence is one of those. When my mother passed to The Other Side, she had a number of letters in her possessions. It would have been an invasion of her privacy to read them, so I did not. Electronic correspondence is no different.

the only way to recover is to except that he has passed on and that all those memories of him will never fade; keep him in yo heart, mind, home and family. Never let him die from the family (talk about him; share pictures, old stories) whatever y'all have to do to remember that the body is gone but not the spirit.

Try emailing the Yahoo Answers Team. If they cannot help you, they will be able to direct you to someone who can, if it is even possible to recover the account.
Other users here at Yahoo Answers cannot help you with this.
Good luck.

Yes you might get lucky and find a writing software you need it, what ever you looking for you will not find it in a yahoo account, if it's something to do with his death God will show you the way.

why would you want to recover his yahoo account? That is his private information. If you died would you want your parents prying into your personal life? I would leave well wnough alone and let him rest in peace!! Sorry for your loss

If he had a free mail account, then the thirty day window has passed, and his account has gone inactive and put on the deletion list. So no. I do agree with the others here; this was his personal life, and it was private to him. My condolences on your loss.
